I was really leary purchasing something that was so much cheaper than the OEM parts, but So far it’s been a much cheaper repair. Easy to install and no leaks.

It fir my seastar 5345-3 perfectly.It holds up very well to the pressure of the system.For the price - it's worth it.I'm definitely buying more in the near future.

Everything I needed to replace my steering seals. Good DIY kit with required special tool included.

Worked like a champ.

The seals were good and went on as expected. The wrench was weak in the pins and was not able to stay in place to remove the old seals. I used Channel Locks to remove them and the wrench to install the new ones.

Bought these in March for a boat I bought. Completely brand new helm unit, the steering rod was in as-new condition, no pits, scratches or defects at all.Fitted properly, and very carefully to avoid damage using the tool provided.Took the boat out for the 4th time today and one of the seals ruptured at speed, causing us to loose steering completely on one side. Could have been incredibly dangerous.Do not waste your money on these, you might pay the price when you need the ability to steer!Just go and spend a few dollars more and get the proper OEM ones.If I could give them 0 stars, I would. These should not be on sale, completely dangerous.
