I installed this in my custom built toy-hauler/camper to supply hot water to my sink and outdoor shower. I paired this mixing valve with a Bosch 2.5 gallon hot water heater. I set the water heater to maximum temperature and tested out the mixing valve range. Cold water in the water tank was sitting at roughly 62 degrees and the mixing valve adjustable range was from 65 degrees to 138 degrees (max temperature the water heater could supply). I set the valve to 95 degrees (my preferred shower temp) and I could tank much longer showers and the water heater was able to stay on top of keeping the new inflow water at temp pretty quickly….. was running almost like a tankless hot water heater!!! Great little mixing valve!!!

Installed to provide hot water to an outside tap in order to fill our hot tub with hot water so the time to heat the water was shortened. Works great. Easy to install.

*update* 2 years in service and working perfectly never a hot or cold shower water always perfect.This is a nice valve but the G European straight threads do not seal. The adaptors are internal flare but the valve is not. This requires European G washer/seals not an easy item to find and not currently available on Amazon. You can get them from Hydraulic Hoses for $1.07 each and this would be a 5 star item if they were included. Dont buy this unless your ordering 3 washers for it. As a short term work around standard flat hose washers work like the kind used in your garden hose but that's only temporary. The attached picture is of the G washers needed they are a bonded rubber and steel washer.

Les raccords G1/2 à NPT 1/2 ne sont pas utiles car la partie femelle G1/2 du raccord ne s'adapte pas correctement au mitigeur. Par contre , les trois connecteurs du mitigeur s'adapte très bien à des connecteurs 1/2 FIP des tuyaux tressés. Le mitigateur fonctionne tres bien.

There isn't a way I could get this to work with my pipes. I'm certain this is NOT NPT sized. The included teflon tape did nothing to help with the connections and it still leaked. After changing gaskets and trying copious amounts of actual teflon tape (which I had on hand), I found this product to be useless. After several failed attempts I've found the metal to also be pretty substandard, it's wearing and rounding off and just falling apart at the threads.I cannot suggest this product at, and I will likely have to get extra parts just to make this work...
