Out of every calming chew on the market I have tried for my very anxious border collie who suffers from extreme anxiety including separation anxiety this is the only product that has worked for her!!! She is 3 years old and about 58lbs and I do split the dose in half as per my research for her size she is to get about 3mg. Just start off slow as this chew is 6mg. If you haven’t talked to your vet about giving your fur baby a high dose of melatonin please do your research so you’re not over medicating them. The 3mg works very well for her and she no longer paces for hours at night before she finally settles and when a storm rolls in through the night she is not even bothered which is huge progress!! I bought these for the Fourth of July bc she’s absolutely terrified of fireworks and thunder. This was our savior this year!!! Once it kicked in she actually slept through them when before she would hide and pant endlessly for hours on end!! I’m so glad I was finally able to find a product that worked for her!! It doesn’t sedate her either which I like!! So if you are in the same boat as I, I would recommend you try this product!! I can’t say enough good things about it. And although she’s getting 3mg and not 6mg I am seeing some improvement in her overall coat health!! Worth every penny and comes with so many which will last us a while! Simply amazing!!

I bought this to try on my 15 month old German Shepherd for his anxiety & it works really well, I give him 2 in the morning & 2 at bedtime, he still has his moments, but this has helped a lot.

Ordered because I learned in a pet health group that higher doses of melatonin encourage hair growth in dogs. So far it seems to help a bit with regrowing bald spots, but it's very slow and taking a long time to fill in. Areas without bald spots have been growing in thick and long though. So if you want your dog to have just thicker hair or faster growing hair, other than bald spots, this may be helpful.At first I used a small portion of the chews for the dog daily, to make sure it was tolerated. Once I knew it didn't cause reactions, I increased it gradually, and now same dog is eating one half or one third chew. I usually give the chew every other day or so. Honestly forget sometimes. I've been the chews for a couple months or so. The dog also seems to enjoy them.Before trying these, I tried Nupro vitamin powder and canine fish oil with meals, but it did not clear the spots either. I just introduced emu oil too, as I learned it also aids hair growth and is all natural. Will update this review later if any products show significant changes in bald spots.Be sure to give your pet a food flea medication too if they are scratching or chewing bald spots from flea allergies.

My vet had told me to get some Melatonin for my Boxerman. While in the office I got out my phone and got onto my Amazon app. I showed her your product and she said it was perfect. My Boxerman had had fur loss, had more anxiety at dog park and was not responding too well to Apoquel. The first night I noticed a big difference right away. Now it is necessary for him to take and his fur is growing back in, which is a huge relief. Thank you!

Seems like it shouldn’t be difficult to make something my dog would see as a treat, as she isn’t a finicky snacker.

This is a product I have a hard time finding. They used to sell it on Chewy, but now they don't so I was glad to find it on Amazon. The product itself is great and works well for my dog, but how it was shipped is unacceptable. The company shipped using a barely padded envelope. The packaging of the product was totally smashed upon arrival. It is the type of item that should be sent in a box, especially when I am paying $45 for two. I may have to find a different provider next time.**UPDATE**The seller reached out about the damaged items and offered to replace them at no cost. They did so promptly and the customer service was excellent. Therefore, I'm changing my original rating from 3 stars to 5.
