There are a total of 6 grommets. When the rain poncho is used as a sun shade or a waterproof tarp, these grommets can be used for fixing. Grommets are at the cuffs and the hem of the rain poncho

No. You would have to go with one of the military style ones for that.

This has gone through several rain storms and no sign of any color loss or transfer that I've seen.

Q: Are this durable for constant use?

Probably not constant use if doing any heavy work in it. You would want something made of a PVC material for that.
