Love these guys!!!
I was doing a build on an Epi LP that's over a decade old and the first things that had to go were the stock HB's, they're really not that bad...but they're not all that good either. I did some research and these Seymour Duncan's are all over the place rated as some of the best for the price...I have to totally agree! These HB's have such a great range and just give my guitar that absolute perfect sound I wanted. Prior to this build I've never set up a guitar before, as far as intonation, action, etc. I purchased an inexpensive luthier set, also off of Amazon, watched a little Youtube and had it dialed in. I have a buddy with a Gibson LP, we did a little comparison, and there's really not enough of a difference to matter...at least not $2K worth of difference. Great purchase, I'm really glad I picked these up!

Will make your pauper Epiphone sound better than it's prince Gibson twin,,
So I got these remembering that years ago they made my mahogany Japanese BC Rich sound incredible. Jump forward 20 years and I pick up this an Epiphone Wilshire Phantomatic thinking after all this time playing acoustic exclusively, I wanna get back into electric. I liked the look and features of this guitar and decided to give it a try. My local GC didn't have it in stock so I took a chance Ebaying it. Fortunately it was a great deal and after a good setup it played nicely but....... something was lacking when plugged in. a certain frequency or harmonic was missing, muddy??. I only have an Ultrasound acoustic amp but with a decent pedal I thought I could get a decent sound. No luck. So I thought I'd try new pickups. I was just going to pick up a bridge pickup but I saw this matched set i don't think they offered it in the days before Amazon. And the price was great. (Way back in the day and I'm talkin' late 70's) I put a Dimarzio PAF into a hondo II les paul knock off and it was about $100. Back to present day, I install this set and all I can say is WOW! what a difference, This is also a mahogany guitar and this set makes it ring clearly like a bell. I thought I would like the tubescreamer pedal through this acoustic guitar amp but playing clean with a little reverb is heaven. And there is a clear distinction between bridge and neck. I promise you'll love them both. And together, they're awesome......

A new voice
After shopping around and going to various manufacturers websites, I saw this offering on Amazon. I didn't care about the picks, tuner or guitar polish, but they are a nice bonus. I decided that based on reviews and SD's website that this pickup set was what I was looking for.I have 1996 Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe, that has seen it's fair share of playing. I decided to refurbish the guitar with a fret job and new electronics. The project included CTS pots, Orange Drop capacitors, 3-way switch and the pickup set.Wow!! What was once a muddy inarticulate guitar that while easy on the fingers just didn't inspire. After the new parts it is difficult to describe. Play lightly and clean, it just sparkles. Dig in and the dirt comes to the surface. It's not just tone now its voice.A couple of build notes. I needed to shorten the springs in order to achieve the proper pickup heights. The volume & tone pot holes needed to be enlarged, but not dramatically. I just ran the appropriate drill bit through the hole by hand and more cleaned the holes than drilling them. This has become an excellent purchase, but more importantly, I have a guitar that inspires.

Best bang for your buck.
Awesome pickups. Nice sound. Good output.I bought this to throw in a cheap Chinese Strandberg knock off. I feel you can't beat them for the price. All the other stuff is included for no extra cost off MSRP. That's pretty sweet too. I have to admit that the tuner is garbage compared to the same product with the D'addario brand, but YMMV.Everything else in the kit was great!

Worth it
Not going to review the pickup because it has already made its name, but this pack has a bunch of extras for the same price. It’s nice to have a spare tuner lying around and some more guitar cleaning supplies. Although the tuner have a really strong grip so might not be a good idea to clip it on to your guitar for too long.

JB/Jazz
Best thing I ever did for my Les Paul was change out the stock Gibson Burstbuckers and got the JB/ Jazz set. So much tonal richness and versatility, from sweet warm blues to rock driven sustain without the harsh bite. I love them, wish I’d done it a long time ago.

Great pickups, cheap tuner.
This set is a great value for the money. Other retailers are selling just the pickups for more than this. That being said, the accessories that come with this are pretty cheap. The clip on tuner only lasted about 2 months before it died.
