Spigen Tough Armor Designed for iPhone 7 Plus Case (2016) / Designed for iPhone 8 Plus Case (2017) - Black

UPDATE 6/24/18 (9 mo. later):This was my bad, I was using the kickstand and when I went to grab my phone to flip the kickstand back flat, I accidentally snapped it off the case and broke one of the little notches that hold the kickstand in. I wish spigen would sell replacement kickstand pieces, but I guess this is just an excuse for me to buy a new case with the new crimson red that spigen came out with.In the future, I’d hope spigen will make a metal version of the kickstand piece so it doesn’t break off so easily. I’ve always had the tough armor for all my phones and never have broken a kickstand before, but I guess there’s a first for everything. I would love to see a metal kickstand for future versions...I would even pay an extra $5-$10 for the case if that happens. Oh well. 9 months is a good amount of time anyway and it’s not like the case doesn’t do it’s job protecting my phone still. The prices are reasonable and the quality is great. I like having a kickstand to watch my shows on the go, so that's why I always get the Tough Armor series. The Slim Armor looks nice too, as it provides much less bulk than the Tough Armor, but I tend to drop my phone a lot so this works better for me. I have, on previous phones, dropped my phones many times and never experienced a broken screen before. I'm sure the screen protectors play a role too, but the case protects from the shock really well. I will always buy Spigen cases for my phones - they last a long time and the paint does not fade/chip off like some other cases I've owned before. Worth every penny.

Spigen has been one of my favorite cases for years and the Tough Armor will always be my case as long as they make it. I used to buy silicon or rubberized cases but always hated how they would stretch or look dirty over time. Then I moved on to over protective cases like Lifeproof or Otterbox but they added too much bulk, reduced usability of the phone, and cost too much. This case is the perfect sweet spot between the two. This year was the first time I bought the Plus model of the phone and I really appreciate the flip out stand for when I'm watching youtube videos or using it as a second screen and watching two soccer games at once.I work for a a company named after a fruit and spend my entire day talking about these phones. Whenever my customers ask me what case I suggest I tell them to ignore everything we have and tell them about this brand. I even have the confidence to drop my phone in front of them on a hard granite floor to prove just how confident of this case I am. I've been doing it since the 5s/6/6s and now with the 7plus, thats how good the Tough Armor case is! The best part of that is tossing the phone and watching my customers flinch in shock as it bounces off the hard floor and I know my phone is safe every time.Best case for the protection, look, feel, and price. Cannot recommend it enough!

This is a long due review as I have been a Spigen customer for more than 5 years now, and this iphone phone case I have owned for 3 years. It is one of my favs, still holding up great after use and abuse of 3 years. The color is gentle and pretty to the eye, surface smooth and cool to the touch. The design of this case is modern and a touch of simplicity. Love the little put away phone stand on the back; it is there when you need to watch something, not too heavy or space taking but just sturdy enough to securely handle the weight of the phone slanted up. Despite my constant wiping with alcohol in the midst of the covid 19 pandemic, the shine and color is still there, and it still feels smooth. With 3 years of use, it has gained some splits and cracks on the side but it's not obvious and still intact, showing no sign that it needs to be replaced. Keep up the good work Spigen!
