Very good Home Theater PC keyboard
This is a very good keyboard for use with a home theater PC. It's not meant for touch typing, but it's compact so that it fits easily on an end table.PROs:- Compact- Easier to type on than a mini-remote keyboard- Excellent trackball functionality, including a scroll wheel- Convenient media buttons for video, volume, and browsingCONs:- Lack of a SHIFT button for the right hand (I would have preferred if the inconveniently placed Delete button should be shift, and Fn+Backspace was Delete.)- The top-side (especially the music) buttons can be hit inadvertently when holding the keyboard (common while watching TV). I wish that the side buttons were down and inboard just a little.- Too small for real touch typingDespite the minor CONs, I would still recommend this keyboard. I would buy it again, because there is no other keyboard that is as conveniently sized with good mouse and media functionality.

More awesome than I thought it would be.
I wanted a small keyboard and mouse combo that I can throw in a bag and take with me when I do presentations so I can control my computer at a distance. This thing is perfect for that. I also have used it at work for a break from my typical mouse and keyboard. I have carpal tunnel and switching up how my hands move on occasion helps to prevent the strain of a day's work. I love that I can control the mouse and type at a distance. It is a little thick to be completely portable, but my electronics bag is already massive considering what I have to take for a presentation, so I am not at all concerned about a little extra space taken in the bag. I can suggest improvements. Having a more standard keyboard layout would be great. It is a bit of a learning curve for touch typing. A rechargeable battery would be great. Thinner would also be an improvement. Backlights for dark presentations would also be amazing, and of course bluetooth. Seriously, if this keyboard had all of that, it would be unstoppable and my go-to keyboard for everything. The trackball/rollerball mouse is such an improvement over trackpads that are difficult to click when they are not on a table. I actually like that the keyboard doesn't fold as the folding ones I have had in the past are nearly impossible to use without a hard surface to place them on. When I present, I am up and walking around the room. This keyboard makes that possible and I can still control the computer if I have a hard surface or not.

Sucks
Boo.. No matter of how carefully you attempt to pick it up, you're bound to accidently push one of several numerous buttons placed along the edges top bottom and sides, EVERYWHERE there's so many buttons that you're guaranteed to press something accidentally. So, there's that problem.. Then there's the roller trackball - thing sucks. Can't pop it out to clean it up so it's just useless after a few days of use. Gets dust and hairs or whatever in there and fails to hit the rollers inside therefore the cursor just sits there on the screen motionless. Entire design is pure crap and you can tell it's cheap crap by the feel of the flimsy plastic with the rattling and just cheap overall feel. And it functions as cheap as it feels. You've been warned..

Worked Great, for Three Months
Worked wonderfully for my home entertainment set up. I have a small PC connected to the living room TV so I can switch between video games and streaming when I want. This was the perfect size of keyboard to keep on the side table to use for short typing and selecting a game before switching to a controller. It worked great for approximately 3 months before it started stuttering and skipping inputs. I've swapped the batteries and changed the USB port the dongle was connected to to troubleshoot. Nothing fixed it. Eventually around the 7 month mark it just died. To spend nearly $30 for something to last less than a year is frustrating to say the least.

Fast and Easy to Use
I go through one of these every 6 or 7 months. It's well worth the comfort you get using it on the couch. They don't cost much, so I keep purchasing.

Basically unusable
Because the keyboard has buttons on the corners and the sides, there is no way to hold the keyboard without hitting a button unintentionally. There doesn’t seem to be any way to disable these buttons. Also the track ball moves when the keyboard is handled causing unwanted mouse movement. I do not recommend.
