I love this book SO MUCH that I have VOLUNTEERED to lead my school during team collaboration time this year! This book has "look fors" for each principle of culturally responsive teaching so I can see where I am at and set goals for where I would like to go.

I received this book in August. The content is great. However, the published copy I received is a review copy. The paper quality and printing is grayscale and appears to be a review copy. Several of my colleagues versions are full color. This is the 3rd text from Corwin I’ve purchased this year that is like that.Update: The author connected with me and was able to provide me with a copy of the book straight from the publisher. I now have the same version /copy as my colleagues, full color. I’d order the book and connect with the publisher is you have the same issue as I did. This book is really good; I’ve used it to support conversations around assets and to drive meaningful adjustments for gen Ed and specialists teachers. A book with content I keep coming back to.

This is an incredible resource for ALL educators who are committed to diversity, inclusion, equity, and acceptance. We all know how important this is, but how do you incorporate this into your day-to-day work? What I love about this book is that it is practical to the max. It's filled with videos that demonstrate culturally responsive techniques, sketch notes that highlight key points, case studies that are highly relatable, and exercises throughout for reflection and application. It's jam-packed with tools that you can immediately use. Definitely worth the price and more.

Great book, but arrived damaged due to damaged packaging. I wish they would pack the books better because they’re not worth getting on Amazon when they arrive damaged.
