These hooks are pretty and they slide very well. I previously had metal hooks on a metal rod and was forever fighting to open my shower curtain. These hooks glide like butter on toast. HOWEVER, be very careful installing them, as the part that snaps together is weak and my last one broke. Now it's held together with a rubberband which is a little tacky but I didn't feel like returning the entire set after installing them. I contacted the seller, first they ignored my question completely and asked me to give them a good review. I emailed them again stating I'd review them after they addressed my issue and they asked for pictures of the problem so they could "decide how to proceed." When I sent the pictures, Amazon said my message was undeliverable due to my attachments. So yeah, if I had it to do over, I'd probably find another product.

I saw that some people didn’t like this product because it started to peel. I can say I’ve had them for a bit and that hasn’t happened to me they look nice hold up the curtain well and so far seem to be in great condition. I take very hot showers and nothing. So all in all I do recommend these curtain hooks.OTHER INFORMATION:They are completely clear plastic and have a decorative band over the top. They are a pinch hook and slide with no problem.

These seem to hold the curtain very well. I only gave it 4 stars because one of the rings did not close properly and I had to "modify" it. Otherwise, they are great and look good.

I'm glad I got these despite some of the negative reviews. I found these shower curtain holders to be quite sturdy despite being plastic. The weaved metallic bit also matches perfectly with my shower curtain.There's really no complaints on my end...they do their duty well and look quite nice. I can imagine that these might break sometime in the future, but that's the price you pay for ordering plastic. However, I'm quite confident that the ones I received will last a long time—especially since I don't have to worry about them rusting.

I've had these shower rings for a little over a year, and three of them have broken. It is very difficult to snap them shut, and just as difficult to open them up (to remove shower liner for laundering). Therefore, the little plastic nibs that you snap into place or unsnap to close and open the hooks tend to break off pretty easily. But the shower hooks are so attractive and unique that I ordered a second set so I can replace hooks when they break.

These hooks are just as pictured. They look way more expensive then they are and dress up my bathroom nicely. Yes...they are plastic. You cannot pull them a part far (or I imagine they would break?) - but I was able to pull them a part to slide them over the shower rod without issue. They firmly snapped together and are holding a plastic shower curtain AND a fabric one nicely! Happy with the buy.

These were what I was hoping for! They slide on the pole nicely and do not get hung up on each other. The clear and silver are nice in a neutral sort of way. I am so tired of ordering hooks that are made of metal which rusts in a short period of time. Love them so much I will purchase the copper ones for another bathroom. They are easy to snap in place and have a HIGH END LOOK!

I thought after reading review after review about these breaking while hanging the curtain that I would somehow be spared. Alas I was not! One broke and now the curtain isn't hung up all the way. They look great but they break. I can't send back (as far as I know) for a refund or replacement because I will have to get up on chair and take the time to take the unbroken ones down which is risky and dangerous. I would like a replacement of just one or two hooks (for the next time it breaks) but only if they just send me a new pack.
