We used this car-top carrier for a recent trip from Pennsylvania to Maine. I must say I am very, very pleased with this product. It was so easy to install (yes, the instructions are a little awkward, but certainly clear). It held several bags and a folding chair (we didn't pack it too full, but it definitely could have held a lot more, and it is expandable). The carrier didn't budge at all during the ride, the straps held firm, and most importantly it kept everything inside completely dry, even during heavy rain onour return trip. The company is very helpful and customer friendly (they sent an email explaining their new zipper). I am very glad I bought this, and highly recommend it. Tip: we also bought the crossbars for our car (Subaru Forester) from the same seller, and that also worked well.

This bag was a massive help in me moving my things cross-country in my Subaru. It was easy to set up, and the straps held up great. Best of all is how WATERPROOF it is. I made the super embarrassing mistake of going through a car wash at the end of my road trip, realizing half way through that the bag was on the roof. Amazingly, everything inside was still dry!! I also love that it will expand to accommodate 2 different sizes. I expected to use it on the higher setting, but ended up only needing the 15 setting. The versatility made a huge difference. Great cargo bag!

The zipper handle broke off while setting it up for the first use. On the return trip, the buckle/clasp broke. I have emailed the company and they have yet to respond. Amazon unable to resolve the problem because it has been two weeks past the 30 days they are able to assist. Silly me for ordering it so it arrives prior to my trip. At this point I would think I’m at least entitled to a replacement but I can’t get them to respond.Update—-Amazon being the amazing company they are were able to assist me after all!! Thank you Amazon!! But still no word from the manufacturer.

Really nice and expands to large if needed, however be careful not to tighten the straps too tight as the plastic clip will break...also nice if the labeled front and rear but easily figured out. Other than plastic clips appears well made and durable.

We ordered this last minute for an 11hr roadtrip. Install was easy, i like that it came with extra straps and a lock. i was worried halfway there because it was raining really hard but im happy that nothing got wet! Cant beat the price great product!

Overall good product but not durable enough for a lots of use. Was easy to install on roof. Kept items dry even in heavy rain during our trip. One of the clips/buckles broke on 2nd day of trip probably due to the slim plastic they are made of. Just to manually that strap to the roof rail and made to our destination with no other issues.

I was very hesitant to buy a bag online due to wanting to touch the material and make sure it was not cheap! Well after countless hours of searching and reading reviews. I choose this bag and when I received it in the mail I was shooked at the Amazing quality of this bag. Greatly satisfied with my purchase.I took this bag and strapped it to my 2017 Hyundia Santa Fe without a roof rack and made my journey from San Diego CA to Wichita KS in the middle January and the bag stood up to weather amd wind all the way there.Now I will say the straps concerned my husband and I since they were plastic so we added 2 ratchet strap tie downs on top of the bags right where those straps would go to make sure the bag was secured to the vehicle with a guarantee of not moving at all. The mat underneath was amazing held the bag in place with little slippage.Overall completely satisfied with my purchase I would definitely recommend this bag to someone that will be traveling. We are going to be keeping ours for when we go camping just to have that extra room.

We looked at several options for bags since we didn’t want to commit to getting a hitch added to my car or purchasing roof racks. I had my concerns with a bag that would suit our 32 hour road trip, but I have zero regrets with this one! We had two dog crates, a large suitcase and a couple carry-on size bags and there was still plenty of space. The bag was super easy to attach our RAV4 and as we took it down it was just as easy to put back up. The only time we had concerns with waterproof was on the final stop we left it on the roof and some stuff was wet in the morning, but not soaked. It is possible that a small amount of water pooled at the top and spilled in when we opened it in the morning so overall, GREAT ITEM!
