it's in the name 'con', product stopped working completely within 6 months, vendor only partially refunded. only purchase from legit Amazon vendors

My docking station was really easy to connect to my devices. The docking port gives a green light okay to let you know when to connect your devices. I love the black ban straps on the cords to keeps them from intertwining when storage or traveling. The cords can be folded with out tension. Thanks it’s working perfectly

I purchased two of these to have on hand. Deployed one about a month after purchase, and it failed a couple weeks later tried to replace it with the other unit, it was dead out of the package. Both were past return date. Sad because these are not cheap to buy. Did not expect this kind of failure rate. The original unit lasted over 5 years. don't know why maybe just produced in the same bad production cycle. I guess I just got a reverse lottery ticket.... Be sure to check immediately if you buy one, and run it for the first month so if it fails you can return it. Then you can store it for backup deployment...

Great product and affordable

I was so bummed... I wanted this for so long and finally bought it.It ABSOLUTELY failed and is really outdated. Worst of all, the Video kept cutting in and out.

Not Microsoft, but works as advertised with exception of audio. No matter what or how connected to speakers has a hum when in use, and it gets louder when the surface is turned off.

Bought two, both started glitching out constantly (attached peripherals stop responding periodically) within a couple weeks.These do not have a serial number and there is no support website. The only way to communicate with the manufacturer is through Amazon's messaging feature.

Bought the dock in April, failed in May

When I opened the package I saw the box that the dock is in and my spidey senses were triggered. When I opened the box and got to to the actual dock device, I found some kind of carpet lint or string on the tape that keeps the dock connector cable coiled. Hmmm, if this manufacturer does not care about their packaging quality control, should I ignore the quality control for this very sensitive piece of equipment? I the words of a wise teacher in the incredibles, "Coincidence, I Think NOT!" Don't want to take a change, I'm returning it.

So I used this device for about 2 months, today I came into work and my Labtop won’t recognize the docking station. It has power and is still charging the computer but the USB ports don’t work for my computer for monitors. Not sure what is going on but it worked fine and now it doesn’t. Of course it’s been longer than a month so I can’t return it.

Product worked pretty well at first but the USB ports randomly stopped working after about 4 months. I’d like my money back so I can buy the real Microsoft version which probably doesn’t have this issue. Disappointed.

Got is yesterday and tried today. The USB 3 ports in the front is not aligned properly so you can tell which side is up. The connector to the Surface Book Pro is flimsy - a very gentle touch will disconnect. Returned it immediately.

Worked wonderfully for 4 months and then stopped being able to send signal to monitors. Wish it would have stopped working before the 90 day support ended.

the product is antiquated and does not all connection to more advanced or newer monitors. Unable to connect via HDMI to allow for better quality viewing.

USB ports stopped working. This is not genuine docking station.
