This is about as simple as it gets. It doesn’t look fancy but it looks decent, lights up, and the doorbell rings.I installed it using the existing holes in the brick exterior wall from the mid-80s heath zenith doorbell button it replaced. The screw spacing being the same was a convenient bonus.I’m giving it 4 stars because it works, was easy to swap in, and was cheap. If this was being sold as a fancy upgrade at a higher price I would drop that rating by a star or two.

So far, so good. Purchased to replace a button that began to stick after years of service. Upon close examination it was apparent a slight adjustment to the design would have made it a lifelong item. This replacement switch seems a little basic but you can tell that it will not have the same issue down the line because the design is simple and functional. No frills but it's in the garage so functionality is all that mattered to me. Seems like the cost for what it is was a bit higher than it should be but certainly lower than any hardware store.

Simple to install. It works. It's basic.

Our old doorbell button failed due to age and rust. This unit was an easy replacement with no new drilling. It fit perfectly and works well.

My wife bought this doorbell because the advertisement said it was brass. It's cheap plastic. It should be advertised as brass-colored plastic.

It's a good cheap doorbell switch to replace an old corroded switch. The lit button is nice while it lasted (a few months) but burns out pretty quick since it's an unregulated incandescent bulb inside that is always lit. The switch still works perfectly fine for ringing the doorbell. I knew that going in from the other reviews so it was expected. Still, it is a great cheap non-fancy replacement for an old broken doorbell switch.

This is a very basic doorbell but works fine serve the purposes I needed it for and I'm happy with it but it's nothing fancy.

Works well. I thought it only lights up when u press the button but once installed, the light will be on 24hrs.... even during the day. Kind of silly but no big deal. That’s prob my mistake. If I was to do it again, I’d get one without the light for that same reason.

Not the highest quality, but a good price point for an emergency repair job. We're on the coast, turns out the old button was the same model, and salty air did quite a corrosion jon on its guts over a few years. Still, this one works, albeit with a much dimmer light. It is however enough to see it in the rural dark.
