I read this book for my class in educational leadership legal and ethical issues. The language in this book is clear and can be read be anyone. This book contains valuable information for the future administrator .

Just what I needed

This was required reading for a graduate course in ed leadership at the University of South Florida. It begins by posing a hypothetical ethical dilemma one might face as a school leader and then expands the issue throughout the following chapters. Strike adds layer upon layer to the original dilemma and engages the reader in deep thought around the complexity of decision making concerning curriculum and programming.

This thoughtful book isolates fundamental issues in the axiology of school leadership without losing its pragmatic power. It was a joy to read, and a prod for my thinking.

This is a must read for any school administrator. Strike takes complex dilemmas and analyzes each from multiple ethical and legal perspectives. Your ethical decision making in the school setting will be improved.........guaranteed!
