I bought the nude/pink shade (can't remember the name of it) and it is a nice color. It doesn't seem to have a major plumping effect but it's fine. My sister loves City Lips and recommended the Watermelon or Sun Diego colors so I may try those next. These seem a little pricey for lip gloss, though.

I’m i’m giving it three stars only because I do like the color and it doesn’t burn like some pumping lipstick do.It’s like a frosty clear color but disappointed it does not pump up my lips. I don’t see the difference. It’s just like a very expensive lipgloss. Maybe because I am 69 I expected my lips to be plump but they aren’t. . So probably works better on young lips lol

It is hydrating and gloss but very sticky.

Finally found a hydrating lip gloss with staying power. I get frustrated at the current options available on the market because, while they all add shine for the 5 minutes they stay on your lips, none of them actually hydrate your lips. In fact many of them seem to zap moisture right out of them, leaving my always-dry lips feeling worse than before I used the gloss. The lip glosses that everyone called "sticky" were the only ones that did anything to hydrate my lips, and it's unfortunate that so many cosmetic companies have changed their formulas to the lower quality, drying, greasy waste of money that they all push now. I have been looking desperately to find a replacement for my last tube of Clinique long wear lip gloss, as it's almost empty and I was starting to panic, thinking I was doomed to a world of useless "lip butters" and "lip oils" that I have to reapply 17 times a day. I suppose I'm in the minority of women who want the "sticky" lip glosses back (pleeeease!)I've seen this City Lips lip gloss on Instagram so many times and ignored it, figuring it was no different from all the other junk out there right now. But there's a new version of the ad now that made me take a second look and finally pull the trigger. It's a significant price tag, so I was a little nervous, but I was not disappointed. While this gloss is not quite as "sticky" as my trusty Clinique, it still has similar staying power, and it feels at least equally hydrating. I've only had it for one day, but I already know I've found my new favorite, and as long as they don't change formula, I'm a lifer. I'm in my mid 40's so my lips are not as smooth as they once were. This gloss does help plump up the little natural creases in my lips. The effect is subtle, but at my age every little bit matters. And I appreciate that I personally don't feel any tingle or burning when I put it on. There is a bit of an odd smell to it while I apply it, but it seems to dissipate quickly afterwards, and it tastes slightly sweet, not perfumy like other glosses I've had the displeasure of trying out. The tube is pretty large, so I feel like I'm getting a lot for the price. It's noticeably larger than the old Clinique tube. Love, love, love it. Don't change a thing. Please.

My daughter gifted me my first City Lips lip plumper because she loves it so much. I'm SO glad she did! It is a staple now for me daily (actually several times a day!). I've had a difficult time finding a lip gloss that doesn't irritate my lips and this one doesn't! I love the colors offered with this product, too. And it tastes great! I would highly recommend.

I am amazed at this product. It enhances lip size, the nude pink is very natural looking and it's not overly shiny, which is unflattering for older ladies and professional, polished girls like me. The plump is seriously amazing but not unnatural and completely masks my smokers lines (no lip liner needed!). Doesn't sting and it feels smooth and moisturizing, not sticky or goopy. 10 stars if I could.

I had high hopes I am over 50 and I have the small lines or on my lips and this sounded like a good product for myself it is moisturizing but I don't see really any big change in the plump department...I was going between this lip plumper and the smooch brand... this one just sounded like it had long term benefits but I'm not seeing any like instant results so I thought maybe using a little longer would help I don't know I'm not extremely pleased with it but I'm not saying that it's junk or anything like that either it is very moisturizing..my main thing was needing that plumpness to my lips that I'm not really getting with this product I'm not completely disappointed I guess. I'll try out the smooch brand and hopefully see the results I'm looking for. Just a little sad it didn't work for me. Now I've had this for a couple of months and I see no results than I would with chapstick. Very disappointed in this product for $35 this isn't cheap and I wish I had chosen the smooche brand instead. At least they had a good deal by one get one free. I really had high hopes for this product just kind of bummed and wasted $35 that I could have spent on perfume or something better.

I chose Nude York Plumping Lip Gloss. The moisturizing and smoothing is very nice! The color is pretty much sheer with a hint of golden glimmer to it, but this is a very sheer gloss. The taste is very subtle, I believe it's supposed to be vanilla but flavor is almost undetectable. I wish there was a little more color in this gloss. It doesn't have a sticky feel. The gloss stays on well for about 30 minutes to an hour before needing reapplication, and I had also hoped for better staying power.
