I just moved to a bigger townhouse with my own office so decided to pull the plug on a new desk. I spent days and many hours trying to decide on the best desk to purchase and I gotta say, this is a great one! The sturdiness is unreal for a "cheaper" priced desk & the quality is fantastic. Those that helped me move actually thought the marble was glass it's such great quality! The gold base is beautiful as well. My main goal was to find a desk that could easily fit my 3 monitor setup (2 desktops, a laptop & a docking station) and this one supercedes my expectations. The only con is the directions, it wasn't crazy difficult to put together but there were a few pieces missing from the instructions (shelf number "10" was not listed on the directions; therefore, we had to guess where it went - it wasn't hard to guess though). Otherwise it took about 2 hours to put together with one other person. I highly recommend another person to assist in putting this together as it helps to put tension on the shelves while tightening the screws at the end. The box also was not damaged at all. Definitely recommend!

TL;DR: great desk, worth the money, very minor fit issues that don't affect the structure.I can honestly say I was worried ordering this desk as many reviews for the marble version were not great. After recieving mine and getting it together, I'm pretty certain their issues were shipping related damages. I had a couple small dings in the box, but the foam was right there protecting the product. I can see how some could have been dinged through if the package was really mishandled, though.The desk itself is wonderful! The wrap on the top pieces is beatufilly done, no raw edges or bubbling. The gold is a LOT nicer in person. Its not that tacky super bright gold, but it's not the more bronzy color that I have seen on these things before either. I did have some minor issues with fit as I put it together, as some of the bars did not sit quite flush to each other and the corner piece has small gaps. Despite those fit issues, when it's all together, it's very sturdy and the adjustable feet help it stay sturdy on my very uneven floors (old house).Pay no mind to the unfinished room in the pictures as we have had to move into this room early. The closeup is of the gap at the corner piece. The desktp trolley is a bit too small for my desktop, so it is shown with a battery backup

It took two people about 40mins to set this up. The desk is beautiful. Knocked one star off because there is a small chip in it which could have happened during the setup. I hope the top holds up, but for the price I can’t complain!

Love this desk! I was prepared for it too look cheap, however, it is surprisingly very sturdy and I thought it looks like it would have been more expensive. I like a desk where I can face a window and not a wall. I went for a "glam" office with gold and cream. Prime week special. Very satisfied. It was easy to put together and no wobbly parts.

I love it . Easy to install. The wood is not too cheaply.

8 months I have had this desk and I would buy it again! Plenty of room for a full workstation set up (monitors, laptops/desktop, and lamp) with space left. Depending on your height, I like to suggest that you get a footstool for ergonomic purposes. Be ready for complements too : )

It’s a solid, attractive desk with nice leg room (6’4 here). The instructions are very confusing but the customer service folks were very helpful. It was just the first box that confused me. Other than that, very much worth the money.
