A great all-in-one solution for multiple displays
My main goal in buying this was to drive multiple displays. It works great for my use cases, but you need to be aware of USB-C bandwidth limitations. On my 2018 Mac Book Pro, I'm only able to drive a single monitor up to 4K (actually, you can do multiple monitors, but each is mirrored). After trying several other hubs and confirming with the Apple store, this appears to be a limitation of the Mac. You can drive multiple monitors by using multiple hubs (each USB-C port on the Mac can only drive a single monitor). On my 2017 Lenovo P51, I'm able to drive three 1080p monitors at 60Hz. However, driving multiple monitors at higher resolutions becomes trickier due to the limited bandwidth available on the port. I can do 1440p and 1080p simultaneously, for example. Or a single monitor at 4K. I didn't try other combinations. I got the same results on my 2018 Lenovo P1 (which is the same as the Lenovo X1).My Android phone can only drive a single monitor (device limitation), but it can do so at 4K.You can charge through this hub, if your device supports it, by plugging in a USB-C charger into the indicated port. This works perfectly on my Mac (since it's designed to be charged this way). On my Lenovo P51, this doesn't do anything. On my Lenovo P1, I can't charge, but while plugged in, the battery does not deplete. The rest of the ports work great (USB, ethernet, card slot). As I type this, I'm driving two monitors, ethernet, three usb devices from a single connection, which is great.

Mostly good, some bad
I ordered this product to help streamline my cable situation at home. I have a personal laptop (Microsoft Surface Laptop 3) and a separate laptop for work (Dell Latitude 5490). I have two external AOC displays that I've been connecting/disconnecting to my work laptop via HDMI and VGA, but that process was annoying and cluttered my desk. Additionally, my personal laptop only has two ports (USB-C and USB 3.0) so I had no way of connecting my laptop to my displays. I now have both displays connected to the docking station via HDMI. I also have an ethernet cable connected and USB mouse dongle (which is nice because I can use the same mouse for both machines effortlessly). So far, everything has worked with a couple exceptions:1) Passthrough power does not seem to work for my Latitude 5490. It could be that I'm using a 40W wall charger, it might not be compatible, or it just might not work. I use a Dell D6000 dock at work and have no issues with passthrough charging. I haven't tried it with my SL3 yet.2) I had some issues with screen resolution on one of my external displays when I hooked up my Dell (no issues with SL3). One of the displays looked like it was zoomed it, which was really annoying. I tried adjusting the resolution, but wasn't having any luck. I was able to fix the issue by setting the problem display as the primary and then changing the resolution of that display. Then I changed the primary display back to the laptop display and everything was good. I haven't had to do that again since fixing it.3) The dock does run noticeably warm. I wouldn't say I'm concerned about it, but it's worth noting if you're paranoid about that kind of stuff.Overall, I'm happy. It's a good amount of features for a reasonable price. I'll update if anything changes.
