This is a replacement remote for an older Sony TV. Works perfectly with no requirement for the user to program anything!

I bought this remote to replace a damaged remote to my Amazon Basics floor fan. It does not work with this fan. I rated it one because it is not compatible with my fan. I will return it.

It is not really an internationa fan remote control as it only works with certain fans.
I thought it was really a universal fan remote control and it didn't work with my fan. I just ended up spending money and unable to return the item. It needs to be disclosed by seller that it only works with certain fans and detail which ones it works with.

Not so universal
It appears to be a good product but it really isn't universal. It didn't work on a remote floor fan (Amazon Basic).
