1/4/23 Update - The hydraulic cylinder is failing after less than 6 months. It had been fine and now lowers without action on my part. Wanted to contact the seller but their options didn’t allow a simple message. Sorry, I’m no longer happy with my purchase and will have to look for another chair.I was seeking the most economical desk chair I could find. I agree with other reviews that the arms are low but I don't spend much time in it so that suits me. Very easy to assemble. Good ergonomics! I'm quite happy with this chair.

The chair is kinda hard to assemble by yourself, specifically when you're screwing the armrests on the back of the chair and screwing them onto the seat. I had to man handle screwing the armrests on the seat due to the top screw holes on the seat being off, making it very difficult to put the other top screw in when the other one was already in. Would highly recommend having someone help you but is doable by yourself, will just take longer to put together (took me 30 mins by myself).Aside from assembly the chair is comfortable and swivels smoothly, only downside, that I expected because everyone in the reviews says it, is that the armrests are too low by about 2-3 inches. I'm 5'0 (152cm) and it's too short for me, so I wouldn't recommend this for people that are tall.Overall the chair is what you get for the price and should be used as a temporary until you can put more money into a good chair, it'll be more worth your money.

Works fine, had it for months now. It started to kind of tilt to the side so the sturdiness is okay. It wasn’t hard to build. The size is comfortable, not too big not too little. It’s pretty small so it fits well for a desk. It isn’t too heavy. It’s just a pretty normal chair :)

This is a decent chair, but it's not the highest quality or strongest chair. Definitely in the right price point. First the good stuff:1. It's pretty comfortable for a $50 chair, the seat padding is more than adequate for a full 8-9 hour day of work. The back mesh is good as well.2. The base and swivel work well, but this is also used on 3' X 4' chair pad in a small room, so I'm not rolling all over the place.Stuff I don't like:1. The plastic supporting the mesh back is weak. One side snapped about 4 months ago, and now I can't really lean straight back, kinda have to lean towards the side that isn't broken. I'm going to try to reach out and see if I can get a replacement, but I doubt that they will send one as the chair was bought a little over a year ago (yeah, I'm lazy).2. The gas cylinder that supports the seat height adjustment vents off every now and then - especially when I go to sit down in the chair after I hadn't sat in it for a while - and sinks all the way to the bottom as soon as I sit in it. So I have to raise it to sit in it, not a huge deal because it doesn't sink as I'm sitting in it. It's just annoying that as soon as I plop my butt into the seat, it sinks.
