Dryer Lint Vacuum Attachments Lint Remover for Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit Dryer Vent Hose Brush Lint Trap for Deep Cleaning Fire Prevention (Blue)

I bought this as a preventative for fire in the dryer vent as recommended by professionals. It was the lowest cost, best thing I've bought in a long time. I attached it to my Shark vacuum and put it down the lint trap in my dryer. I was floored by the amount of lint it removed and glad I did it! The only small downside is that it doesn't got deep into the trap (although that's how it is designed) but it does the job and gives some peace of mind. Everyone should vacuum out their dryer vents, it's a proven cause of fire in the home!

It worked well with my small shop vac attached. Using a stick vacuum with an attachment caused constant clogging at the connection between the vacuum attachment and the blur attachment funnel piece. I changed to using a small shop vacuum where i could connect the round shop vac hose all the way into the blue attachment tube. Large pieces of lint would still clog at time, but worked better. We have a front load dryer (where the lint screen is inside the dryer door towards the bottom of the drum) I used a long rod to stick down in the lint screen area to scrap the lint off inside the dryer vent and the stuff the was stuck on the bottom. I also used the rod to try and break the lint up in smaller pieces to suck it up. Once i was done, our dryer lint screen was able to sit flush all the way down (which it hasn't for a few months due to the lint build up). It was a pain, but did a much better job than one of the lint brushes.

Used this tool immediately after I received it. Wish I had ordered it earlier. Pulled a bunch of gunk out of the dryer. My dryer work better now. Product is as described. Easy to use. Fits my Bissell vacuum hose with no problem. Best few bucks I've spent on Amazon in a while.

Pros: The length and quality/strength of this item are great.Cons: if hose is angled a certain way, the suction intake of air creates a very loud and ear-piercing sound. The feeder end of the hose is too wide, may not fit into the slotted lint tray compartment.Because hose is made so well, there’s little ‘give’ to make it fit, which obstructs air intake creating the awful noise.I bought when on sale for like $5. Works better to use under refrigerator and furniture, not the dryer.I wouldn’t buy again! 😞

I haven't cleaned the dryer lint vent since I bought my machine years ago (oops)! I decided to get this hose attachment based on everyone else's positive review and it works just as said. It attaches and connects perfectly to my shop vac and other standard bissell vacuum. It doesn't get every little thing of lint out, but overall it really does a great job. It sucked so much lint out that it actually clogged the hose! But no big deal, I just unattached it and pulled it out before continuing on. I feel much safer now knowing that I have eliminated a huge fire risk.

This attachment is perfect for getting lint out of the dryer and is narrow enough for getting fuzz from under the washer and dryer. Get this for fitting into tight areas when vacuuming. Attaches easy to end of your vacuum hose.

This didn’t work at all. The hose was too stiff to manipulate so it just missed lint on one whole side and couldn’t be redirected without having the hose fall off of the nozzle adapter at its first connection. The adapter piece fit fine over my vacuum, but the next connection junction, two round ends that connected the nozzle to the first attachment, kept falling apart because the rubber of the nozzle was too soft and kept collapsing and letting the hose fall off, if with almost no pressure and with me holding the two pieces together with one hand while trying to direct the dysfunctionally stiff hose with the other hand. I can’t imagine any dryer scenario where this WOULD work. Also, the suction strength is related to your own vacuum, and mine was good. But the flat shape of the hose made it easily clog on the lint that I DID succeed at sucking up once it tries to pass through the slightly narrower junction where two pieces connected together. And since I’ve missed the return window, I’ll just be throwing it away— it’s that bad at its job.

I wasn’t sure how much lent would actually come out of the dryer but I was surprised. This easy to use gadget is great! It sucked out all kinds of lent and dirt.My dryer had started giving the notification to check dryer vent even though the screen was clean. Now I know why.Easy to use and compact for storage.
