Disappointed, stopped working
**Original review below. After a few weeks the keyboard started stopped working properly. I pressed the letter M and “jmu7” came up. Alt button was the apostrophe. Issues like that regardless of buttons pushed. I plugged in a wired keyboard and it had no issues, restarted the iPad, forgot and reconnected the keyboard, recharged the keyboard; all no luck. It’s a shame because I loved the product. Returning this. Hopefully no one else has this strange issue.**I bought this case and keyboard to replace a plugin keyboard I had and I’m so glad. It’s a small keyboard to fit the width of the iPad, but still very ergonomically comfortable, more so than the plugin keyboard I was using. It connected quick without issue on the first try, and reconnects every time. The magnet effect on the keyboard is very strong, which is good because the grooves designed for the iPad don’t really support it without the keyboard magnetized in front of it to hold it in place. When closed, you can leave the keyboard magnetized to the case and fold it inside over the iPad when not in use, but until the case kind of “breaks in” the magnetic flap on the back to hold it shut doesn’t quite engage. I prefer to take my keyboard off since it magnetizes to the outside of the case as well (kind of neat to me) so it doesn’t go anywhere when stored in a bag during any travel. The case doesn’t have any sort of stand/display feature without the keyboard attached to help support the iPad, but for me that’s small potatoes, but wanted to mention it for people who don’t want to take their keyboard out with their iPad every time. Overall I am happy with this purchase.

so far so good.
very economical, keypad works well and case is very protective.

Unusual display/keyboard arrangement, can be difficult to pair
This Is my evaluation of the Bluetooth keyboard. I can’t type quite as fast as I can with a full-size keyboard, but the speed is sufficient for most simple work.Pairing of the keyboard with my iPad was problematic at first. The iPad did not want to recognize the keyboard, and it lost the Bluetooth connection at least once and had to be re-paired. Once fully set up, it seems to be holding on to the registration and connection. The backlight feature of the keyboard is useful, but it’s easy to hit the wrong key and send it into a distracting cycle where it changes color every few seconds. Read the (very short, with very small print) manual to see how the backlight is controlled.I didn't "get" the arrangement of the keyboard and display at first. Rather than sit mounted in a recess, the very thin keyboard has a magnetic back that mates most anywhere on the inside of the case. The case has multiple "furrows" in it for placement of the lower edge of the display screen, allowing you to choose the angle that is most comfortable for you. You then place the keyboard wherever you like to facilitate typing, and you're set. At fist, I tried to use the case and keyboard with the keyboard only in its travel position, where it rests when the case is closed. After I figured out that display/keyboard mount issue, I revised by star rating from three to four. The manufacturer could reduce the possibility of further understanding by printing instructions in a font that does not require a magnifying glass, and including the display positioning options. When the case is closed with the iPad inside, the access flap sticks up a bit. The system would seem much sturdier and solid if that flap was to lay flat when closed.

Looks better than expected
Haven’t used it much as school just started again but this case looks better than expected. The keyboard feels good and so far responsive. The keyboard backlight looks great and I like how it can toggle on and off. The key sizes are sufficient for what it is. The actual case looks nice/ sleek/ and sturdy. Easy to pair. For the price you pay it is a great buy so far… no complaints!

Becomes non responsive quickly
It is a good keyboard and cover to turn your ipad into a laptop of sorts. Unfortunately, the keyboard goes bad very quickly. I need to replace the keyboard only 4 months after purchase.

Judicious use of magnetism
The keyboard is magnetically fastened to the case, ergo removable, and there's an on/off switch for the Bluetooth instead of the "smart" sort that takes 8-13 keystrokes to wake up. I got flexibility in configuration, and solid consistency in usage. The one drawback is the backspace key -- it's located directly below the Delete key, which instantly closes an app in the middle of typing when pressed. It's not a stellar note-taker. But on balance, I'm quite pleased.

I wanted to like it, but…..
First, the good:Case is nice.iPad fits securely. It’s not too bulky.Keyboard batter lasts a long time.Illumination in the keyboard is killer. The bad:There’s no “native” position. That is, when you open up the iPad, you have to slide the keyboard out to reach any of the screen support angles. Not a huge deal, just annoying. The keyboard feedback is mediocre - somewhat loose - but also, what do you really expect at this price point? The ultimate dealbreaker for me - the keyboard often double types, types adjacent letters, which makes it all but useless for actually typing. If it was intermittent, then maybe 2 or 3 stars. But it’s at least 1-2 words per sentence. Autocorrect only gets about 1/2 of them and therefore I would be faster typing on the virtual keyboard. So disappointing.
