Learn Clip Studio Paint: A beginner's guide to creating compelling comics and manga art, 3rd Edition

The book is great and really useful, I actually learned a few things. I feel however that most of the book can be found on youtube. The only difference between that and this is that you have it all collected together in one place, vs all over youtube, from multiple people. Just my 2 cents. I personally like the book, I can refer to it whenever I need to.

The authors’ content may actually be good, but the production quality is so poor. I’m hoping to teach Beginner CSP locally, and I can’t use this for my own learning, let alone expect any of the teenage students at our local art center to spend the money on it.

Still wasted pages on downloading program. Get info when you buy program. Very well written and tells you how to do certain tasks in different ways according to what you want to do with it. Better than other book, easier to understand.

It explains to tools in the program to make it easier to make manga and comic books with out having to repeat steps over and over and shows you how to ajust the tools to your liking

Update, 4/10/22. I've read most of the book now so I would like to update my review. This is a very useful book and it goes over how to set up your Workspace and how to use each tool in detail. It has many useful hints. I think some sections and tips are a bit randomly organized together but if you read it carefully, it is very helpful. My only wish is that the image quality is poor and it is b&w. But the actual content is very good. The rest can be supplemented by online and YouTube.----It is black and white inside and poor image quality though the color images are downloadable from a website. It does go through different aspects. I'm not sure if I will use it. Probably better to get from library or watch Youtube videos.
