Perfect. I have needed these for years but couldn't figure out exactly what to get. I am so glad I took a chance on these. My biggest concern was really writing on a very small surface - I mainly got these because they are larger and come with both chalk and chalk pens.Tip: When using the chalk pen, give it a chance to dry. I started out using the white pen and was instantly disappointed at how light it was. So I grabbed a different "chalk board" and used the pink - even worse. After about 30 seconds I went back to the first board (that I used the white pen on) as I intended to erase it and use the chalk, and wow - what a difference. It takes time for it darken up. To me, the white chalk pen is much clearer on the board than the pink. No trouble at all getting the sticks into the stand bottoms - just twist them in.Pros:Large writing surface - perfect for those who have loopy, sloppy writing like me.Comes with chalk and chalk pens.Comes with a cloth to wipe down the surface (I just used my thumb though).Comes with extra "chalk board" surfaces if you use the pen - several reviewers have mentioned you can't actually wipe the boards clean and reuse if you use the pen. Correct but there are extra stickers if you need to write something else later. I haven't even tried to clean mine; just put them in the box until the next party.Nice and tall so I was able to put these near crockpots and casserole dishes so people knew what was in them. Perfectly visible / didn't get lost. Nice and sturdy.

I used these for my dessert table at my wedding. I ordered them a couple weeks beforehand, and was a little worried since some reviews had issues with fitting the rods into the base. Some of them were a tight fit, but spinning the rod into the base for those worked just fine. Others fit perfectly. I was happy because these also came with pink and white chalk pens and a small bottle of whiteboard cleaner and I hadn't read that part of the description. I worked with these 2 markers and didn't have to buy any others. The ink is great, it stays on and doesn't smear. To remove, you HAVE to use the whiteboard cleaner. This was awesome because I was able to design my dessert tags 2 weeks before my wedding and not have to worry about making cute, clean designs the day of wedding set up. I don't have any photos of my dessert table yet (wedding was 2 days ago) but here are the dessert tags at home :) I tested out cleaning one sign after the wedding, and with the whiteboard cleaner the ink comes right off even after being on for 2 weeks, no stain/residue left behind. Great purchase at a great price!

Nicely made, professional look, just perfect for our buffet dishes. They fit perfectly top and bottom, so old issues must have been resolved. The 2 pens work nicely and the spray to erase is like magic. I did use a rag with a little soap and it also works, but the spray that comes with it is perfect for erasing. I highly recommend this mini chalkboards. They look beautiful and well done.

Super cute for our party! My only problem was they came out of the stick more than I'd like. I ended up gluing them in so they would stay. They are very light, so better for indoor and not outdoor, the wind will blow them over and in half. They are big enough to see and sit in front of food and be noticed. Very affordable and very cute!

Used them at a shop Christmas brunch to label the different foods. The signs were small enough not to be intrusive or in the way, yet large enough to write each item clearly. The enclosed cleaner works well and the pens are of good quality. These can be used for any special event. They don't tip over--that's the best quality; they sit firmly on any flat surface, even on top of a top cloth.

Very cute mini chalkboards! I used these at a party and plan to use them in the future for many things. They were really easy to assemble and stood up well. I received numerous compliments on them. If the chalk is difficult to get off, try white board/dry erase cleaner (like the Expo cleaner). I wouldn't recommend letting the chalk sit on there for days. If cleaned promptly, the chalk should come off. The company also has great customer service!

I was very concerned about this product given the mixed reviews on several different options here on Amazon. I finally decided to pull the trigger, picked this one, and am glad I did. All signs fit into their bases, with at most a little twist and push needed to seat them firmly. ( And I would think they need to be nice and snug for stability) It's not shown in the picture but they also came with a little bottle of white board spray cleaner. It worked perfectly with a paper towel to remove writing made with the included markers after spacing, writing goofs. Also included were a couple replacement blackboard stickers. Everything worked as intended and we couldn't of been more pleased with the product.

For $10, this pack is a great value! Check out my pics to get a better idea of their size-they are small but really cute, perfect for labeling desserts, food, etc. on a table. The markers write fine but I purchased additional ones for more variety of color. They clean off easily with a paper towel/cloth and water, and although they are very lightweight, I didn't have any trouble with them tipping over. Overall a great buy!
