Sewell Silverback S6 4K HDMI Cable 15 Ft - HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.and 3D Support, 4K @ 60Hz 4: Deep Color

Hadn’t upgraded my HDMI cable in years (2009), I think. But I ordered from Sewell then as well. Bought a new 4K TV and kept using the same cable. It worked. No issues. Except when I was watching FOOTBALL. The ball was ghosting and had substantial image drag. I decided to order these because I knew I was not getting the best available picture. I ordered these and I was blown away by how much clearer and sharper the images were. Sewell makes a great product. The only down side is that they don’t offer the discount on ordering multiple cables here on amazon. Would also be a great if they’d compare and rate other top competitors cable, but I’ve always been satisfied with Sewell.

Great thick cable. Worth the value, but.... it does NOT support HDCP 2.2 Please be aware of this prior to making a purchase. I was not aware, so I made the mistake of purchasing.

Best 15 ft HDMI cable I have found. I originally purchased MediaBridge High speed HDMI which promised 4k HDR through the 15ft cable and to my disappointment it was unable to provide what it had advertised. This cable arrived and has performed flawlessly since day 1. Its a premium cable with a premium design for an amazing price. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a HDCP 2.2 4k HDR compliant cable at 15ft!

From the minute you remove your Silverback S6 4K HDMI cable from the easy to open packet, you can feel the quality construction. Plug it in & you'll be scratching your head why you ever paid more!This is now my 3rd Silverback S6 4K HDMI purchase. I have a 15' long cable going from 4K TV to receiver, then two shorter runs for my 4K UHD Blu-Ray player and Roku Premiere+ 4K media player. HDMI switching is fast and the picture holds up beautifully!Trust these for your 4K HDMI devices & you can thank me later!

WILL NOT CONSITENTLY TRANSFER 4K 4:4:4 (or 4:2:0) on APPLETV 4K VIA 15ft CABLE! Picture will randomly cut out every few days - white static and then tv will say “no signal”. This has happened to me on so many cables at 15ft length (some will fail within minutes). This has happened when watching 1080p, 4K and 4K HDR.I had high hopes since this company specifically talks about how they test the cables at this length for 4K 4:4:4 on their website and have posted test results on AV forums showing that the cables pass with flying colors. They promote that this cable works in that situation heavily. I’m here to let you know that it does not consistently work with my APPLETV and LG Oled.As for build quality, it’s a very well made and really beautiful cable. Seems like care went into the design. Shame it doesn’t work like it’s supposed to work. Maybe shorter lengths don’t have this issue, but company specially said this length was tested and worked.

I was using this for several months when I started developing problems, especially switching from 4K to HD. I'd loose the picture also sometimes intermittant loss of picture on HD feed. After lots of problem solving with the help of Samsung and Marantz we figured out it was the cable. I contacted Sewell who told me I bought it from Amazon and not directly from them, so they would not be able to replace it. After escelating the issue the finally agreed to RMA the cable, they'd send me a new one after I returned the old one. Well this didn't help much. I bought an Amazon basic cable to use while waiting for the seweall return. I noticed right away that the sound quality was much much better using the new amazon hdmi cable, somehow the sewell cable was limiting the sound output. Also the picture problems have disappeared.So this cable does have warranty but they're not very good about it.I like many Sewell products but this cable is NOT one of them and I can NOT recommend it.

Bought this HDMI cable to solve the HDCP unauthorized on my Roku player as other reviews suggested. Unfortunately it doesn't fix the issue, I still see the HDCP error, though the cable looks good and has high build quality.

For the most part I like the design and idea however the cables are mighty stiff to the point of difficult to get the end situated properly to plug in to devices. I attempted to utilize two of these cables with the 4k hdcp passthru switch for PS4pro and PSVR which was nothing short of a nightmare. Individually the cable worked spotty however together they would NOT work with products own switch. I ended up spending a lot of money on not only these cables but others as well, (when the switch of which I've tried 2 with a 3rd on the way with simple 2.0 Vizio cables work but audio occasionally flashes and occasional blackouts happen) only to end up with disappointment and frustration. I'm sending back the useless cables but I'm stuck with premium shipping charge another lifes lesson learned I suppose.
