B'H: I used it for the first time and was "wowed" by how easy and perfect my maki came out

Even though it looks easy, it is still not for the lazy. Ha ha. It still requires effort:Canned meat is not as good as cooked meat.Seaweed paper is still paper.Regular rice is not sushi rice.It still requires preparation.Aside from my own technique, my only complaint is the box itself says the product is not dishwasher safe, which is inconvenient.

I have always wanted to learn to make sushi but had been intimidated to try. I decided this time I would do it so I searched on here for a sushi maker. I came across this product and after watching the video, I played it many times I felt confident this could definitely work for my zero experience level. I received the item and then went to the asian store and bought the sushi rice, veggies and the nori to put it to the test. It came out great!! My aims were not to make a complicated sushi as sushi is very time consuming but a sushi good enough to suffice my sushi cravings. The kit comes with a spoon to the take the sushi out that is useless but it's an extra so it didn't matter. Also I did read a review that someone mentioned the sushi fell apart when taking it out. I didn't had this issue. My guess is that his rice wasn't cooked properly or this person didn't wrap the top part well or didn't squeeze it enough. I also decided to slice the sushi outside the maker in a plate which is better for me as I was able to make smaller bite size sushi pieces that actually fit my mouth. This sushi maker is sturdy and feels good quality, it will last forever. Highly recommend this item if you want to try to make simple sushi at home once in a while.

It took us a single use to figure out how to use it correctly and improve on our technique.I didn't use a very good sticky rice recipe the first round, so they didn't hold together as well as desired, but they were still yummy.I found the secret to be, fill them pretty full so they are easier to cut.Definitely recommend for make-at-home lunch time California rolls!

Love this! It is easy to use. Easy to store and clean. It doesn’t take up a lot of space either.

There are others that give you more Piet and for equal the price or a few dollars more
