Air leak
Update: several months later and still works perfectly. Updated my rating.‘92 Wrangler 2.5L line to the slave cylinder seemed a little sloppy in the new master cylinder vs the old one even with the new o ring. Bleeder o ring was too big for the master cylinder so I couldn’t use it. Spent several hours trying to bleed the system and finally after removing and installing the new master cylinder several times, the pressure held.Though it was defective but maybe the o ring needed to swell. Hope it holds for the long haul. Time will tell. Should have opted for the replacement plastic version.

Exact fit. Perfect replacement.

Works great
This clearly shows it does not include the fitting on top. For Jeep, they use a special fitting and plastic line which you will want to replace. Tough to get all the pieces but worth it to have a solid clutch.

Garbage
I have not had this product in my Jeep for not even a month and it has gone bad. The original lasted 100,000 mi I didn't get 50 mi out of this one. I would like for Amazon to replace it but I don't know how to get them to do it. I'm sure they're going to say it's passive return time I'm not returned because I want to return it I just want a replacement.

Direct replacement for factory
Good fit, just make sure you pay attention to how the hydraulic line connects up and don't lose the press in pin!!!

Excellent support from manufacturer
Clutch was getting "squishy" several months after replacing slave cylinder; all clues pointed to a failing master cylinder. I removed the old master, bolted the new one in, connected the hydraulic line, and bled the air out. When we were finished, the clutch pedal was flat against the floor. We tried different methods of bleeding it for upwards of an hour and could not gain any pressure in the pedal.I called Dorman figuring it was a faulty master and they would issue an RMA and send out a replacement part. Before they would do that, they wanted me to contact one of the master technicians they have on staff. I spoke with a mechanic named Marty, and he recommended I reverse bleed the hydraulic line. Instead of forcing fluid through the system top down, use a large syringe and force air out the top of the system from the bottom.Reverse bleeding did the trick, and the clutch is working like new.

Works great.
I was worried about bleeding the line after reading some reviews. I installed it watched YouTube on how to bleed the line and I was done. Works great.

Well made and solid. Works well so far.
Seems pretty good so far. Installed nicely and used the bench bleed procedure and worked great . Dont try to cut corners saving time cause removing both pieces doesnt take much and putting back in is super simple. bleeding inside vehicle is a lot harder then pulling out and bleeding it. did it on my own.
