I ordered this because I manage a team that has a team member in a different time-zone, two hours off.This allows me to see at a glance what time it is for her. There are also two USB ports on the side so I've been using those to charge items like my Fitbit or illuminate my color changing sign.It does also have an alarm clock, though I don't use that function. I did test it out upon receiving it just to make sure it worked and it works just fine. There is also a backup battery (a small watch battery) that will allow the clock to keep the time if the power goes out, once it comes back on the time should still be accurate. I haven't had a need for that yet, but I can't see why that wouldn't work.Another feature I enjoy is that I can use military time. I learned that in high school in JROTC and it just stuck, personally I think it's easier than dealing with AM/PM. But to each their own - I just really appreciated I could set it to either option!

I got the dark chrome colored clock and it looks so sharp with the color scheme of my room. I absolutely loved the different light settings and the option to have it either in “AM/PM” or military time! It was very easily to assemble & connect. However, I do wish it came a simple instruction guide to at least specify what the buttons were for. It took me no more than 5 mins to figure out what the # of times a button was pressed would do. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase!

I really like the design of this clock. Looks great and is bright enough on Highest two settings to see during the day. But those two settings are way too bright at night...the lowest setting is perfect but too dim in daylight. I don't use the alarm but it seems easy enough should I ever want it.

If you wanna see what time it is buy this clock . The light can be adjusted but you will not be disappointed.

Bought this for my daughter's first year of college she loves it and it's still going strong for her sophomore year

Worst Amazon purchase I’ve ever made. From the moment I got it I hated it. It’s cheap material, all plastic, doesn’t work, required a plug in bc it doesn’t charge and the wire/ charger isn’t even aesthetic. Doesn’t shine enough light for digital time, doesn’t have options to change lighting, in the pic it’s night time and during the day I can’t see the numbers bc it’s never worked since I’ve had it. The charger isn’t even fitting well to the hole so it doesn’t power more often than not. PLEASE GO SPEND YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING ELSE.

purchased item for one of my guest bedrooms but didn't particularly care for item. was very light weight with out any substance to the base to keep it in one place. also very difficult to set and manage. wasn't able to set the time set an alarm or change from am to pm with out being frustrated and confused. looked aesthetically simple and nice but not worth the hassle as it didn't fit my needs. sadly had to return.

I had seen this on a list of top favorite things from Amazon. It was just what I was looking for. I like the sleek, white, clean lines of this and easy-to-read look of it. Some reviewers had expressed that they weren't happy with how lightweight and easy to topple over it was. I don't agree with this assessment. So far for me, the lightweight nature of the clock has not been an issue at all. It does have a built-in stand which does a great job of keeping it upright and in place. It is beautiful, functional, and a huge upgrade from me using a clock app on my phone. As for the brightness of it ... it has a mode which dims the numbers just perfectly for sleeping. It is great because I can still read it easily when I wake up during the night but the light of it doesn't keep me awake at all. During the day, it is automatically brighter and also easy to read. In my opinion, for this price the clock is excellent on all fronts.

My daughter loves this little clock. The size is perfect for small spaces. It looks cool at night and you can adjust the light. Easy to set up and use.

First day of use and product looks like a value for money. Three modes of brightness are adequate. Product description says battery number cr2032 needed however product itself says cr2016 which is not a big issue as both cells are similar priced and can be easily purchased from a local watch dealer/repair shop. I have plugged it to an inverter power outlet point so i may not need the external battery. Will add more details and quality checks to my review after a few weeks of usage to help others planning to buy!
