Replacement for the Samsung C 430W color printer
This black ink cartridge easily slides into the pull down front of the Samsung C430W color printer. The old cartridge slides out from the bottom of four trays (yellow, magenta, cyan, black), this new one slides in. Delivery was prompt, in two days. Samsung's packaging allows for the proper environmental disposal of the old cartridge, by inserting it in the plastic puff pack and the box the new cartridge came in. The new black ink cartridge was soon printing dark legible text.

Good replacement cartridge
Toner replacement cartridge works well. However, they are relatively expensive and they do not last very long.

You get what you pay for
I ordered this cartridge to replace a CLT 404S that I purchased from 7Magic as part of a set of 4, 3 color cartridges+1 black. The color cartridges worked but the black one did not, so I ordered the one from Samsung, more expensive and it worked instantly. too bad it's so much more expensive!

Works in my C480FW
This was easy to replace/install. There were no written directions in the box, and only some vague pictures on the box of the install process, but the procedure is similar to any other laser cartridge replacement.The printer recognized it immediately, with no trouble, and showed a capacity of approximately 1,500 pages once installed.

Samsung Toner
When I installed this Black Toner Cartridge The copier/printer displayed { Toner not Compatible} The # on the box is correct K404S but the cartridge had no Number. It also contaminated all the other 3 color toners.
