I wanted it to be gold to dress up my fireplace mantle. It is. I may tone it down with some gel varnish.

Flexible and sticks well
Love the ease of the flexibility and stick strength. My only issue was it was wrapped inside out so I had to "fight" with it to set it the correct way.
