Do not buy this unless you want to end up crying and throwing money away
EDITED REVIEW: I took a few days to clear my head and picked back up on building this thing and realized I misread the instructions! I forgot to screw something in and thats why it broke, I'm giving this item 3 stars now because it is pretty difficult to build and instructions take a few times of looking over to truly understand. The first few pieces of assembly are the hardest to understand but then it gets easier. I used some wood glue to put the pieces i broke back together. Once assembled it actually seems pretty sturdy! The handles look pretty cheap but other than that its not bad looking. If assembled correctly one can do it alone, it's not super easy but its doable! It took me about 7 or 8 hours total. Glad I didn't throw this out!I would give this 0 stars if i could!!!! Impossible to build! I built ikea furniture for a living for 5 years and I couldn't assemble this, instructions are not clear , "predrilled holes" are a joke, you have to drill them yourself. After trying to stand this up and put the two side pieces together (per instructions) the middle pieces fell off and stripped the dowel holes. Now it is broken. I paid almost 200$ for nothing! Its sitting on my floor in pieces will not be able to fix this. I'm so angry I should have read the reviews before I wasted my money on this piece of junk. I'd ask for a refund but the box is too heavy and broken so I can't even ship it back. Do not waste your time or money on this unless you have a professional to help you build, definitely a two person job, single people like myself beware.

Definitely NOT worth the time and effort.
The instructions were possibly, the worst, most incoherent, instructions that ive ever read. You'll definitely mess up a few steps along the way. There is no pre-drilled holes for certain steps so you'll just have to guess. The wood quality is extremely poor. It's pressed wood chips so I didn't expect it to be perfect, but this was unbelievably awful. If you screw in a piece just a little bit wrong then the wood WILL split, crack, and break. Pieces are bent slightly and nothing fits together, you will have gaps and openings in this drawer. DO NOT buy this dresser if you're interested in the locks. The mechanism doesn't even work correctly and if it did, then it would not be secure. It's held together by a small piece of metal that catches on the lock when opening. If someone wanted to get into your drawer, all they would have to do is pull hard and bend the metal or rip it out of the wood entirely (which would be extremely easy.) Building time was about 3-4 hours by myself, im sure you could half that time with two people. For something so heavy I did expect more quality but I guess that's my own fault for buying something less than 200 dollars. If you're looking for something cheap, you don't mind the grueling work, and the less-than-mediocre product, then this is for you. You can definitely find things in this price range that are much easier to build (and actually work) out there!

Great for the price.
I assembled this by myself but there is one part where you join both sections that would def have gone easier if I had another person so if you have a friend or roommate I would def utilize them for that part. Other than that it was pretty easy to assemble but took several hours. Product itself looks very nice and is sturdy but wobbles enough if you have a younger child using you may want to anchor it to the wall parts included for that). I have about 5 pounds worth of items sitting on top without a problem but would not but a TV or anything heavy on it. The top two locking draws are very nice and deep. I wish the bottom 5 draws were maybe 4 and a little deeper, but suite my needs. I was missing some non vital screws (to attached the handles to the draws) and I was able to successfully order them via the Hodedah website but it did take some time to process but were shipped immediately. All in all great piece, would recommend.

Final product wasn't worth it.
So the sliding doors on my bottom of my dresser hit each other from shagging in the back of the drawers making extremely difficult to slide open or close the drawers they get stuck easy; I don't use the bottom last two drawers close to the floor because I feel like they are gonna fall apart from the force of trying to open them so I just made those doors for looks (false doors not useable) since I can't get it fixed right I just glued the doors on. The only thing I like about this dresser is the locking pullout drawers on top. Once together it is solid by the top of the dresser when put on otherwise it's not very sturdy without it. This took along time to put together and it was very heavy it's not lightweight at all and can throw your back out of place. The drawers are deep and can hold a lot of items but unfortunately I can only use the top 5 drawers. This dresser is very tall I'm 5'2 and it comes to my collar bone. I am not very satisfied only getting to use 5 drawers when it's 7 drawers. The introductions were very confusing also and hard to assemble this took two days even with the help of my family members. I wouldn't recommend this if you don't need a dresser that locks that's the only decent pro comment I can give about it.
