We like this product, but I would suggest ordering the darker wood. We ordered the lighter wood and the imprint is difficult to see. The difference in tones is just too slight. If I had ordered the dark wood, I would have loved this product. With the lighter, I was disappointed; not with the product it self, but with the difficulty in seeing what it actually says.

The personalization is very nice. Good quality wood, the darker wood is best for contrast with lettering. Purchased as a gift for my son and his new wife, they love it.

This item was purchased as a gift for a housewarming party. The item I received is beautifully engraved and I was very happy with it until I flipped it over and saw that it was engraved upside down!!! I am very upset and very disappointed. I am sure that I can find fixtures somewhere but I should not have to spend more money after paying $60 already. I would probably not be as upset were this for myself but it isn't and that is certainly not how I wanted to give this plaque, as defective.
