These are great
For years, I have draped freeze cloths over tender plants in the flower beds and cut up the big freeze cloths to wrap around the my pots. So happy I ordered a number of these in various sizes. We had our first freeze last weekend. These were so much easier to cover my outdoor pots than trying to wrap them with freeze cloth and use clothes pins to hold together. The pull strings on these are perfect to sinch the bottom of the bags around the base of the pots. We had high wind when the cold front blew through and I didn’t have to worry about the covers blowing off. I needed a couple more larger covers…and have already ordered them…to be prepared for the next freeze.

Good protection from cold
This product protected my plants from freezing during several nights when the temperature was in the low 30's to high 20's. I have had it on my plants for 2 weeks. In addition to the cold nights, we had a couple of days in the high 70's and the plants did not get too hot under the fabric. It seems durable and is easy to use.

good item
I cut it into smaller pieces and I use it in the summer to protect my plants from insects, deers, etc. One thing I find it annoying is that water does not seep in, which the description says it does but not snow. I had to lift up the cover in order to water the plants.

Saved my babies!
This is the 2nd year that I have purchased these. Even in Texas we can get a couple days of good snow and freezing temperature. These blankets are a lifesaver. I put them on before the first frost and then leave them on until the last. I staple these on my wood fence around my bushes to protect them. I use these on my blackberry and honeysuckle bushes last year, and this year, I plan to use them on some of my other plants that are on the ground in pots. I didn't get one of my blackberry bushes covered in time last year and I lost it, but the one I did has flourished. I love that these allow the plants to breath and that they still get sun. No they don't last typically more than one year, I really didn't expect them to. But it is way cheaper than trying buying new plants every year!

Probably should have passed on it .....
I have a different row cover that is great! This is far from that product. Because of the variances and the size of the cover itself, it is difficult to get it correctly positioned. I doubt that it will assist with the cold weather but we will see. I have a great one set up, so it does have competition to see which I will buy again. For right now, if you are seeking a row cover, try a different one and then let me know if you like it so I can buy it too.

Wasn't very impressed with this
It sounded like a good idea when I bought it, but it didn't achieve the results I was looking for. I put it over my cut back princess plant in November 2013. It went over the plant very well and I cinched it at the bottom so it wouldn't blow off. So far, so good. Since the information on the cover said it was breathable, I decided to leave it on until most chances of frost were over (in Fremont, CA). Recently (Feb 2014) I noticed there was a tear at the top of the cover and I peeked in to see how the plant was doing. It didn't appear to fare any better than if I had left it uncovered. This plant always dies almost to the bottom of the plant each winter and I have to cut away the dead portions and let the plant start growing from the bottom. I was hoping the cover would help it not die back as much. Recently it pretty much ripped to pieces when it was really windy so I just removed it and tossed it. At least it wasn't very expensive and was worth a try.

Works fine but doesn't last long
I have been using this over a raised garden bed to protect the plants from frost and animals. It worked well to keep the plants safe from frost and I have kept it on even though over night it is night freezing. The sheet does protect from sunlight as well so my vegetables have not gotten burnt from the high desert sunlight. I wish the cloth were of higher quality. After three months of use it has split open and is falling apart. I certainly will not be able to use this for more than one season.

Frost Protek Garden Fabric
This product protected my plants well during some cold spells. One concern about the fabric is water appears to roll off, so it is important to water the plants during the warmer days. I would like to have received more information about the fabric regarding rain not being able penetrate the fabric. Even though the fabric is very lightweight, it is easy to cover plants and shrubs fastening the sides to the ground with u-shaped garden anchor pins.
