We've always used HP toner, but decided to try this based on all the positive reviews and the "Amazon's Choice" designation.Initially, it worked perfectly, exactly like the OEM HP 55X toner. However, it began to run out of toner and print very lightly within just 5 weeks whereas the HP toner would always last at least 6-8 months. It either ran out of toner of the cartridge developed some other problem making the print gray instead of black.I guess you get what you pay for when you buy after market toner. Too bad, because it started off so well. I thought I had found a bargain. I learned in short order that I didn't. C'est la vie.

Opening the package, there were tools that came with the cartridge that made feel a little intimidated and questioning "what did I get myself into?!" I just followed the instructions, which were very well thought out for success, and completed the task. End result, it worked great! And you will only have to perform the chip card "operation" once. After that smooth sailing for future purchases. The toner is good quality. We will see how long the toner lasts compared to the name brand but I suspect it will be the same. Cannot beat the price!

The ink cartridges work great. Though one of them came cracked on the end. I contacted customer support. They immediately shipped me a brand new one with no questions asked.

This is the best replacement ink cartridge for my work printer that I've found. Normally when you buy it on HP, it's around $200 for one cartridge, but you get two cartridges for an amazing price. I will continue to buy this replacement cartridge. Best value!!
