Worth the price!
I’m so glad I purchased this. It’s a great piece of equipment to practice vocals with. Using its Blue Tooth capability leaves me the opportunity to vocalize to tracks stored in my I-Phone. If one needs a portable outdoor PA system, it’s great for that as well. It does have some weight to it, but it contributes to its sturdiness. The only drawback is when the unit is first turned on, a voice comes through the speaker at the loudest volume, (no matter how low the all the volume controls are set) telling me the Blue Tooth is enabled. I don’t need or want to hear this at all, let alone at the loudest possible volume. With that said, I still give it 5 stars. It’s a good unit at a good price.

Tremendously Disappointed!
OK Really wanted to like this. Just needed a small PA for singing practice at home. This had all the features I wanted: Basic EQ control, A bit of reverb/echo, multiple inputs and blutooth for double use as a device speaker....tons of glowing reviews about how LOUD it is.I was TREMENDOUSLY disappointed. The output is so weak.It is necessary to turn ALL 'pots' (EQ & Volume) to 100%, and, have the mic pressed against my mouth to get a level of output just a tiny bit louder than my singing voice without a PA. I have tied singing into it, with several different mics, including the one that came with my $400 Karaoke system...still the same. This renders any EQ adjustments impossible...anything less than all turned to 100% and the sound drops off to nothing. The MAX volume output is about as loud as I would expect at about a "4"! Utterly useless to me.This review is for the device only. My experience with the seller/purchase/return has been flawless.

It is ok if you are not too pick about sound quality
This is more a personal PA than a monitor. I like passive monitor better for live stage. This active one is very portable because of the size. The sound is serviceable but not really stereo and crystal clear (no matter how I adjust the equalizer). The distortion when the volume turns up high is unavoidable because of the size. The manual seemed to be written by someone who's not a native English user. Also, it doesn't really provide any instruction on how to connect this unit to mixers. The connector to mic stand included is a nice touch but why can't the manufacturer include the adapter (5/8-3/8) to connect to the microphone stand? It won't cost much but would be more thoughtful. Also, the base of a vertical mic stand is not wide therefore when this speaker is mounted, it tends to be wobbly. A tripod type of speaker stand is a much better choice but I don't know how to connect this PA to a typical speaker stand sold on Amazon. The push down/push up buttons are very flimsy. I can pull the little rectangles off without effort. I wonder if they would fall off during transport. The power cord is also short. In most situations an extension is a must if the socket is not right next to where you want this unit to be placed.I wish that there will be a headphone jack to plug in an earphone monitor. The line out doesn't seem to work to connect my Rolls personal monitor to this unit.If you need a light weight portable speaker and not too concern about sound quality, this is a good cost effective choice.

GREAT DEVICE FOR TUE THE PRICE!!
The media could not be loaded. Really surprised at the quality and build of this little PA/personal monitor! Sound quality is surprisingly good, the build seems very sturdy and the little thing is loud! This will be a perfect monitor for on stage applications. I always had trouble hearing floor monitors and with this monitor being close, will help immensely. Also, there is no need to buy any sort of adapter for a mic stand...just place the end of boom stand up inside the whole in the bottom of the unit. You can't beat the price of this unit!

Better buy protection plan!
Kept it boxed up for a few months then used it regularly for about a year with a keyboard. Suddenly stopped working - sound shorts out and goes to a hum. It was cared for gently, never on high volume, and used in a home. Really liked the sound and volume/features but that doesn't help if it dies after a year.UPDATE Sept. 2018 - From 1 star to 5 starsApparently this company takes Amazon reviews seriously and backs up their products. Although out of warranty, the company shipped me a brand new unit after reading my review. Not many companies I can think of that truly stand behind their products. The unit should not have stopped working, but how can one complain if they send you a new one. Should the new one fail as well, I will adjust my rating again as needed. Hopefully I just got the rare lemon the first time. An outstanding example of customer service. Wow!

The sound was ok for personal use.
The sound was ok for personal use but after about 8 months it just stopped working and has not made a sound since.

Good value, but lacking a bit in sound quality.
I think these are a good value for what they cost, but they ultimately didn't work out for my needs. These are very similar to the Mackie and Behringer versions. I would say the sound quality is a bit less than those are but comparable. I was really annoyed that these don't fit on a mic stand out of the box... Both the Mackie and Behringer version come with the proper adapter and this adapter is maybe a $2 part, but without it you can't use these as they are intended to, on a mic stand. I've decided to go back to a wedge instead because the larger speaker just projects a more rounded and pleasing sound which I need when I'm doing vocals. In another band I'm the drummer and we use the Behringer version of this on a mic stand for my monitor and it works great in that scenario for me. I really just need to be able to hear what's going on there though, in the setting I purchased these for I'm doing more acoustic and solo work where I really need to feel more comfortable with the sound and it just wasn't for me. I do think they should provide the mic stand adapter with this product, but otherwise for the price these are a good value.
