Smart Ceiling Fan Control, TESSAN WiFi Fan Switch Compatible with Alexa and Google Home, 4 Speed Fan Remote Control and Schedules, Neutral Wire Required, Single-Pole

Got the this back in December and finally had a chance to install it a couple of nights ago after installing our ceiling fan. Install was pretty much straight forward as long as you follow the directions and determine which wire goes where. The only issue with my install was that there was not much room in the 2 gang switch box with all of the excess wire in the back, but I managed to squeeze this switch and another Tessan Smart Dimmer Switch beside it.Works as advertised. Dimmer Switch controls the ceiling fan light and the Fan switch controls the ceiling fan. Wi-Fi connection was established and Alexa was configured. I'm able to control the Dimmer Switch and Fan Switch with Alexa with no issues.

I installed as directed but it wouldn’t work, dud. It was of course just past the return window but the tech support from the Tessan website was great, verified that I’d installed correctly by photos and promptly refunded my money since they are out of this product now. I would consider another Tessan product given how responsive the company is and how easy it was to deal with them. That counts more than product reviews!

The switch may not sink with all wifi apps. I recommend SmartHome.

Works as advertised.Tight fit in electrical box, very tight.Want a handheld remote so I can turn on/off the fan at 2am without getting out of bed, talking to Alexa, or fumbling for my phone and finding the app.

It is a very nice switch and would work great if installed by itself; however, I have many switches in one box. The holes to screw this switch into the electric box or off and the switch sits lower than a standard switch. This makes the alignment off and will not allow the wall plate to be installed correctly to align with other switches in the same box.

Unfortunately I received this item, got it all connected and added to smartlife for Google integration, however, the switch failed to run my fan. To troubleshoot I first bridged the live wire to the fan control wire and the fan started running. Then I hooked the switch back up. After turning the switch to on, I could hear the relay click but no power was coming from the fan power wire so the switch was unable to run the fan. I tested it with several tools and there was hardly any power passing through the switch even at level 4.

Hard time getting to get it connected to Alexa! Took two days off screwing around!! OK! Finally got it connected. Works good, but Alexa can't change the speeds on the fan. I have to use the phone! "Easier to use the the wall switch!" I wish it worked with Alexa voice commands! Alexa can only turn it "off" and "on"!

Not what I expected, didn’t realize it needed a hub.
