Great man, great book! A must read for all. I came across The Overview Effect a few years ago when trying to figure out what i wanted to explore in my Psychology Doctoral research. I was captivated from the very start and my fascination has only grown since then. The book first came out in the late 80s/90s when the 1st edition was published. Its relevance was not fully understood back then. The ideas in the book are certainly getting more credence and acknowledgement now with space tourism kicking off and space travel providing so much learning - Frank is a forward thinker and someone who will surely be recognized for his philosophies on space travel. i am now in the final year of my doctoral research, and exploring astronaut experiences of the overview effect, and am for ever grateful to the book and the man. Needless to say i am a fan! I love this book, it change my life
