Best of the Best!
Oh my...This thing is absolutely a beast. I bought this to replace WAP610N that was pretty old. I disconnected often when downloading files, and occasionally my Ethernet would just cut out. After ruling out my motherboard, it was time to replace the bridge that supplied 1000s of hours of gaming.-Installing this was a breeze.-Wasn't auto detected by windows 10, but that was fine with me, as I hate when Windows installs drivers.-Downloaded the latest Driver from Asus's website (NOT THE CD, NEVER THE CD). And installed them. No bloatware interface or software, literally just the driver,Now...I was NOT prepared for what happened once I looked for my network. I had full 5 bars on the 2.4ghz band and 3-4/5 on the 5Ghz band. I'm 350FT away from the router...I could not believe on the performance of this thing! Not only did it connect with 5 bars, but there was less lag when playing games AND increase my download speed from 2-3MBps to 5-6MBps.The beam-forming worked like a charm, the more antennas I pointed at my router's direction, the stronger the signal got. I am 5 Bars on the 5ghz band 350FT AWAY FROM IT!Contrary to what other reviews have said, this DOES support Windows 10.I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and oh my...Yes, I definitely recommend this if you need range and performance. Also, my router is the new ASUS ROG Rapture 5300. And Yes, I 1000% recommend that as well. Both of those paired together will give you the best wireless performance you have ever experienced.

I’m like 8 months into owning this and if I could ...
I’m like 8 months into owning this and if I could give this more than five stars, I would.I live in a building with shared WiFi broadcast throughout (kind of like being back in a college dorm. Ugh. What was I thinking??) the signal is iffy at best. I have an iMac sitting next to a PC that I’d just built. The iMac gets an ok signal. By ok I mean I can browse uncomplicated websites without frustration, but videos like to buffer and gaming is off the table. On the PC, I purchased a cheap wireless card, not really “getting” the difference. I turned on the computer and found it was basically impossible to access the internet from that thing. And that was my “super computer,” so I was ticked.I went onto a few websites and found this was the most highly rated (and most expensive) standard wireless card. I wasn’t going to do it but after a few minutes trying to load my amazon cart, I said “eff it” and three this one in it.BEST. “EFF IT.” EVER.This puppy downloads and uploads faster than I can blink. Downloaded a full movie in a few minutes, gamed with my buds with no lag and never had to worry about that ish again.I’m that a-hole that gives partial stars on reviews, even when I know that the employees need an “all or nothing” review, if I feel it’s warranted. This sweet box of metal and plastic earned all these stars. Maybe 2 or 3 more. Like, I kind of want to take this card out to dinner and put it in a parade so everyone can admire it. Good stuff. If you have a crappy signal and you want it to go from scrawny Steve Rogers to roided-out Captain America, drop the extra pennies and bring this baby home. I don’t see how you could regret it.

Great product; Worth the price
First of all, the product was easy to install, it took me about 10 minutes from just trying to lock it in place inside my pc. Besides that, everything was pretty simple, but make sure you install the software onto your computer before you decide to unplug your wifi connection, you will have to install it somewhere else and transfer it through USB, so better off installing it before. The device itself looks nice, it has a nice black finish and sits comfortably on my desk, and it's not that large so it hardly distracts me. The actual cable from the card to the antenna is quite short though, so make sure you have somewhere nice to place it that's close enough to your computer.Performance: it performs great. Before I would be getting from 20-60 Mbps download and upload, sometimes even below that, but with the adapter on any given day, I am getting 400 Mbps download/upload and never lag. On the occasion I do lag, it has to do with my provider, not the adapter. Is it worth your money, yes most definitely. If you need high speeds for whatever you're doing, get this one. It is incredibly easy to set up and will provide you with immense satisfaction.Keynote: I've had this for about a month now, and nothing has gone wrong.

Solved a huge latency issue
My gaming PC came with what I thought was a decent wireless card. Until I started having some really big issues with lag. The issues would come up during gaming and any type of streaming from my primary machine using Plex. Made no sense with how much I had invested in my home wifi. Running two UAP-AC-Pro's through CAT6 to a UniFi Switch 24, a Ubiquiti ERPoe-5 Edgerouter, and finally to fiber from my ISP. I would have continued to run CAT6 to the computer but it's location from my server room made that difficult to do and conceal the wire. And even so, it shouldn't matter with an AP capable of 1300 Mbps on 5GHz.After some trouble shooting I realized it was the 5GHz band on my wireless card that was bad. So I decided to upgrade to this and I couldn't be happier. Performed even better than I expected. The magnetic base is pretty handy and makes concealing it easier if you want to stick it to your desk or some type of stand. My latency went from 25-30ms and lots of random lag spikes to 16ms and no more lag spikes. I realize 25-30ms is great and it was until I would lag (always during some sort of important objective in game) and would miss several seconds of action due to the spike. I would have settled for the lag spikes gone but lowering my ping and getting rid of the spikes made this a home run for me. I can't say this will 100% lower your ping as it depends on the game you're playing, where the server is located, and of course your ISP and the UP/DOWN speed they provide to you. But if your wireless card is giving you issues and you need an excuse to upgrade, you'll love this.
