I got this product from Top In Shop - a quite-mysterious Amazon seller since I can't even find it in this description, plus I didn't have much luck accessing their website. They did say I was their 1% lucky customer so I earned either a refund or another free one -- which I plan to send to my best friend who is recovering from cancer treatment and back surgery. Anyway, I really love how this little puffer works. It makes kind of a steam-train / machine gun kind of sound when you puff, and definitely loosens up the lung secretions especially if you have a lot of those. Plus you get the exercise to strengthen your lungs. So I would suggest using this several times a day while staying well hydrated. Also it would be cool to combine this with a salt pipe for inhaling, then exhale out this one! For best results I would use the pursed-lip breathing technique where you breathe in through your nose and exhale through the pipe with pursed lips. I really have to thank my best friend Mark for suggesting this -- he and I definitely seem like separated brothers since we have an uncanny shared sense of what we like and need! In addition to adding a salt pipe feature, the company should also think about adding some kind of noise to this so it would be an additional motivation. Overall though it is excellent already. And get the one with two ball bearings so you can compare what is best for you. I'm sure you will be keeping it a constant pocket companion -- but what kind of game you will call with it is anyone's guess!! The answer is blowin' through the wind (pipe)!!!

A very simple but effective way to clear the phlegm from your lungs. Take a deep breath, hold it and breath out through the device. The ball bearing interrupts the flow of air and makes a gentle vibration that loosens the phlegm. 10 minutes of this really helps.

This flutter valve works well for clearing your lungs. I use it at bedtime and it works the next morning. Occasionally, it comes apart and the silver rolls across the bedroom floor. I wish it stayed together.

Great item if you have a tendency to chest colds or want to keep chest congestion at bay.
