We tried cooking bacon on the plate but found that there was uneven heating on the plate. The left side always got heated up faster and thus it was difficult to cook properly. Will try to contact seller to see whether there is an exchange?

The seller sent me one flat pan and two takoyaki pans without the pancake one though, they've made it up after I showed them the pics of what I received—good post-sale services. Back to the product, it's straightforward to use and easy to control the heat. You won't worry about the oil splitting over the table at all, which is impressive when you have a small barbecue.
