Very happy with the barbell
Great solution for a home gym with limited space. Good quality, functional, everything as advertised. Fits Olympic weights.

Perfect when tight on space
I picked this technique bar since I really dont have the space for a full 7' bar in my basement. However, I need one that can fit on a regular sized rack and this allows that by cutting about 6" off on each of the sleeves. The bar itself is the same 28mm diameter as standard. It's not ideal for bumper plates if you are pushing around a lot of weight but you can still fit 4 regular 45's and a collar on each side if using standard size iron. The knurling is more aggressive on the inside vs the outside. I would prefer that the other way around but I should really start using a narrower grip anyways. One thing to note is it shows up super greasy. Open it wearing gloves if you can and plan to make a few passes on it with a rag before using it.

Solid
Needed a shorter bar works great. Keep in mind it's 30 lbs not 45.

Great product; terrible packaging
The barbell is exactly as described. Works perfectly with the landmind press sleeve I own. As others have stated, it came rather oily, but I wiped it with a rag and it seems to be fine.Honestly, for the money I don't think you can do better. I don't lift heavy (max 150lbs) so for me it's been great. The only thing to note is the packaging -- it came in an extremely thick cardboard sleeve that was compressed as if a truck had ran it over. As such, the barbell wouldn't come out of the sleeve and it took me plus another person 20 minutes to cut through the thick cardboard in chunks. A total mess and exhausting -- by the time I was done, I didn't have the energy to workout!

Good barbel for price
I looked at a lot of barbels. I was nervous at first since most are over $200 that this ones wasn’t going to be up to par, however I’m blown away by the quality for the price. I use it for my home gym and so far has held up as well as a fancy $300. Do t waste money on a more expensive one this one is just as good if not better!

Rackable, compact, good quality, great value
I was looking for something that fits in my budget rack (Major Lutie PLM05, with J hook distance of about 44 inches.) This fits perfectly and saves me some much needed space. I have cheap bumper plates and this fits well enough. I don't lift very heavy, so those that need to go 300 lbs or more will probably want to make sure the 9 inch load depth is enough for their plates. This is the best cheap rackable (49.5 inch distance) 6 ft barbell I can find. Worth every penny.P. S. I don't do Olympic lifts so can't comment on the spin. It seems to spin very well from what I observe.

Great short bar for the money.
I don't usually write reviews, but this bar is so much better than my 72" from fitness gear bar that I thought I would. I purchased this because I moved into a smaller gym and did not have the space for a 72". It fits my 46" rack well with 49.5" between the weight stops. The chrome plating is good and the weight sleeves rotate easily with the brass bushings. The sleeves did have burrs on the ends from shipping damage/manufacturing and needed to be filed down a bit or risk cuts. The shipping tube was broken but there was not much damage other then a few burrs. I do think it is a bit overpriced but shipping something like this is expensive even at commercial rates.
