For $200, these are probably the best IEMs on the market
After 3 months:While I was a little weary of the price at first, these IEMs have held up extremely well. The cable isn't becoming undone + the connector in the IEMs still holds the cable extremely securely. While they were a little uncomfortable for the first few days, my ears have gotten used to them and I now only really get tired of having them in after 4+hrs. The eartips create a good seal, and I haven't had any issues with not being able to hear my mix even while standing right next to guitar amps or a drum kit. These IEMs are also extremely easy to drive. On my macbook I only really need one or two notches of volume with spotify at 100% to be completely happy with the volume. They also sound fantastic. Without any EQ they may be a bit bass heavy compared to a reference monitor, but for casual listening they have a very satisfying kick to them. The soundstage isn't great. These still sound like you have IEMs in your ears. However it also doesn't feel like everything is coming from the center of your head.As for the build of the IEMs themselves, I haven't noticed a scratch on them yet, and the resin over the blue/brown pattern is still nice and smooth.---------Original review after 2 weeks:For some context - I bought these after getting fed up with my ZS10 Pros continually falling off their cable. I figured that I'd buy something a little nicer and hope that they last for a long time. So far I don't regret that a bit.Pros:These IEMs are a very nice balance between being both detailed and also not being fatiguing to listen to. I personally like a bit more bass than what they were tuned to out of the box, but a tad of EQ made it nearly perfect for me.The cable is great so far - the 2pin connectors are definitely not coming loose from the actual monitor, which fixes the main thing that drove me nuts with my KZs.For me the smallest eartips created a great seal. I usually stick with mediums, so this surprised me, but the seal in my ears has been great and even. The design is subdued enough that from a distance someone won't see the blue/brown accents and will just see you wearing a black IEM, which IMO is great.Easy to drive - they work great with both my phone on the train (I found a little under 1/2 volume was a comfortable volume for me), and with my wireless pack on stage.Cons:These things shipped with a truly wasteful amount of packaging. I'd much rather have had them only come with the small carrying case and eartips in a cheap cardboard box and paid $20 less than getting all this packaging.I wish the carrying case was a little bit less deep. I usually carry my IEMs in my back pocket, and while I still can with this case it is a little odd sitting on it at the moment. Maybe I'll get used to it, not sure yet.I'd also be great if they came with foam eartips instead of just the silicone ones. For the same price the SE425s come with many more types of eartips. These do give you 2 sets of each size though which is nice.

An excellent option in the price range, versatile for all genres if you like detailed listening.
I'll start this off with the few negatives I have about these, because the positives really do win out.- The packaging. It is unbelievably nonsensical and wasteful. You get a large cardboard box wrapped in plastic, and inside that is a really nice large zipper carrying case... and inside that is a small carrying case that you can actually use. The large one is molded just to hold the foam that holds the buds, a metal card holding the tips, and the smaller case. It makes no sense and it really is annoying to have this nice, big case that can't be used for anything but the exact orientation they came in.- The 2-pin connector is a bit snug and I felt like I was forcing the cable more than I should have to get them seated. Pulling them out is a nightmare too, but at least it means the connection is secure.- With the two tuning switches on each one, I'm pretty sure the first one doesn't actually do anything. If it does, it's so minor as to not matter. Now for the positives. For my ears, these are incredible. I tend to prefer a slightly brighter sound signature as for me, it brings out details in cymbals and makes everything sound "airier" for lack of a better word. These definitely have that extended top end, with distorted guitars shimmering and cymbals being crystal clear, without drowning out the vocals or bass instruments. There's a nice thump to these as well from kick drums or bass lines, but they're definitely not bass heavy. Sub-bass is definitely present but it's not the main thing you're hearing; you can feel it, but don't expect a super physical subwoofer level experience from it. These have tuning switches, with the second one being the only one that affected the sound for me. It seems to make the high-mids a bit louder, so vocals were more present, but to the point they overpowered some of the other sounds on hip-hop and pop. I preferred them with both switches down. Anything I throw at these, they make it sing in the best way, bringing out details I never noticed on my over-ear headphones like AKG K712s. There's even a bit of a soundstage I haven't found with other IEMs, not as wide as big open back headphones but it's definitely not just an "in your head" experience. The isolation on these is good, nothing incredible but they will block out traffic noise pretty well with music playing. These sound stellar, plain and simple.Comfort and build is a big deal for me, and these excel there as well. The unit is pretty small so it fits in my ears perfectly, the included tips aren't fatiguing, and the included cable is FANTASTIC, with ear hooks that aren't too aggressive and a lovely soft feel. These also look incredible and feel really durable thanks to the resin.$200 was a lot of money for me for a pair of in ear monitors, but I don't regret the purchase at all. I've been looking for a really high quality detailed sound that I can easily fit in my bag in a small case, and these are definitely that.

Gorgeous
Each faceplate is different, with hand painted design swirls, and is lightweight and comfortable. Sound stage is average but otherwise sound fanastic, fast tight bass, clear maybe even clinical mids, crisp treble. All of this makes insturment layering great with no congestion.
