the plastic was stretched and was a little dirty from a garage
Got this from amazon, It came in original box and wrapped in plastic, the plastic was stretched and was a little dirty from a garage. I put some on my truck two months ago and they're without a doubt the best product I've installed. My f150 got these and I honestly wouldn't buy anything else. Please keep in mind I'm aware there's better products available at much higher prices but I'm not a race driver on a closed course, neither is half the folks who run them but that's their money, but for my money I refuse to buy cheap off name brand junk, and draw the line at really high priced stuff that earned their reputation from spending money advertising rather than research, I usually go with mid priced stuff such as these and I found a real gem with these, I'd definitely recommend this to someone!

Technically this last purchase was just so I had one on hand but..
The first one I ordered last year fixed my issue and was easily installed. This one was just so I have one on hand in case the issue happens again. It took 90,000 miles to have the first issue so likely won't happen anytime soon but decided to play it safe.

Great Fuel rail sensor for 2006 S40 2.4i volvo
So I waited over a whole year before leaving this review because I have had bad luck in the past with online buying sensors. But I got this in early June of 2022. It took me a total of maybe 10 minutes to replace the fuel rail sensor. So far 1 year later after installing the issue has Not come back. I improved my MPG by 9 MPG after install and have no seen any power loss or hesitation from the repair.I recommend searching online auto suppliers or your vehicle manufacturer for the correct part number before ordering on here. I searched on Amazon for my fuel rail sensor and it came up with 5 different part Number's that would fit. And after searching on my vehicle's manufacturing site only 1 of the part numbers would fit correctly. But all in all the replacement part has worked great.

I hope it works, packing was terrible
Bosch makes great parts, but to put a sensor in an envelope with a very thin layer of bubble to it caused the box to be compromised. The part looks okay, but whoever is doing the shipping needs some tutoring. I hope the part works, do not know yet.

Cleared check engine light on S40
Fast delivery. Minimal packaging. Sticker on the box indicated this was a genuine Bosch part from Germany. Installed it in an '08 Volvo S40 2.4i (automatic) following online tutorials and suggestions. Space is super tight to remove/install this part and you'll need torx bits T30 and T25 for the cover and part, respectively. I ended buying a right angle screwdriver and bits from the local Harbor Freight to solve that issue. Definitely be sure to have rags in place to catch any fuel that spills out! I followed directions to relieve fuel pressure including removing the proper fuse and also depressing the relief valve. I thought I was in the clear since no fuel came out from the relief valve but when I removed the sensor, I good bit of fuel spilled out. It was all absorbed by the rags so it didn't end up on the alternator. After I got everything back in place and let the gas fumes clear, I started the car with no issue and the CEL was cleared. It's been close to a month now. No issues.
