Daughter had a small surgery. Have had this on since stitches came out. Her scar is non existent. So thankful the surgeon recommended this. Bought some for my father after his appendix surgery now. It truly works!!

The product box for this item is delicate and easily smushed in transit, but the silicone strips inside are enthusiastically endorsed by our dermatologist. I took a couple stars off for ease of use, because if you need to use part of a strip, it can be nearly impossible to remove the backing to apply it, and once you get the backing off, you need the skills of a magician to keep it from sticking to itself. (It's very thin, and it has a strong adhesive on it.) Once it's on the scar, I believe it helps the healing process. As long as your doctor(s) approve; it doesn't seem to be harmful, and it probably helps.

Sheet often stay intact even through a shower or two if you do not scrub the area where the sheet it and minimize some of the water hitting sheets. You are to keep them on for up to a week before changing them out. And you can cut them to size which gives you more for your money. I lake these sheets. I will have to continue using them the give a review of how well they work.

This is the best scar cover to help minimize. You can cut to different sizes and once on they stay on for a week and the clear tape is a plus. Definitely recommend this product over others that I've tried

I like the thin nature of this super-sticky tape, but it comes in just 1 size, and has a super-thin backing, with just 1 cut down the center, so that's the only place you can detach from. I really prefer the beige roll of scartape Amazon sells. It's a LOT more tape with a fabulous matrix that you can easily cut into any size & shape, and easily re-use. But clear tape may work better for some skin tones, especially if your scar is covered, so the sun won't harm it. (No sun should be on scars for the first year [unless you have sunscreeno n there], ideally, so beige tape is safer.) I ended up using the matrix from the other roll to try & create proper pieces of this tape, but it's hard to do (since this tape is so sticky and thin). One positive about this tape is that each piece is individually sealed in an air-tight envelope, so it won't go "old" (lose its tackiness over time, like the roll will). For the roll, I keep it in a tight baggie, and I eventually had to start heating the piece of tape I am using (with blow dryer) to ensure it won't start lifting up at the corners. The other brand (beige roll of scartape) has loads of tape, so you can share with friends & neighbors! I can't tell which works better, in terms of scars looking better. The effects are mild on most scars, but some of my old scars do seem to disappear, so I'm putting these tapes all over!

Totally unsatisfactory. It is a major effort to unpeel the product. It stretches and curls up making it very diffiecult to apply. Would never buy again

Very effective! I used this religiously post op for my incisions. It's stayed on when I went swimming and when I used scar gel with it.

Very easy to use and its been helpful the past 2 weeks. Hopefully it will continue to help the skin heal.
