Performance Plus GSP-1 Acoustic Guitar Soundhole Pickup with 9 Foot Cable and 1/4" Plug, Transducer Deluxe

This is one of the few clip-on pickups that works with an f-hole archtop. It sounds great!

Seems to work as intended. Amplifies, sound is OK, not great, not bad. Easy mount, volume control is a nice touch.

This installs easily enough (I did have to loosen the pinch of the clip) - no damage to my inexpensive nylon string acoustic or its finish - and since I'm still a beginner at guitar, I didn't have to remove any strings or otherwise fiddle with the instrument's setup to get it in place. That being said, the audio buzz from the connection is terrible, and it didn't pick up much sound at all. The louder I cranked the knob, the louder the buzz, and with no actual amplification of the guitar's sound. I figured I'd rule out the amp as the culprit and plugged my Fender back in - no buzz, no hum - so I can only conclude it's this pickup. Perhaps a wire is loose somewhere inside. Sadly, I am not an audio or electrical engineer. I simply wanted a way to boost the sound of my playing for when we had to record or participate in the now-on-Zoom classes I'm taking. I guess I'll keep looking, and send this back. It's a little too expensive to keep when it doesn't work as hoped.

The AIT-1 Transducer is a low profile, external pickup which can amplify any acoustic instrument.Included is a mono 1/4 plug, but it also comes with the added capability for a mono 3.5 mm 1/8 plug. Use for whatever you need. It's inexpensive, and the performance has been a positive experience.

The product is not what I expected. I was looking for some more flexible than the semi-fixed pickups as the Fishman I have (that works incredibly by the way), but the sound and fidelity is very poor, and produces a lot of noise.Not a good choice

Sound quality was good and was easy to take on and off. Only downside was that unit is large enough and mounts right on soundhole so sometimes hit it while playing.

I use this on a guitalele. It’s a little too big for it but I have managed to make it work. The problem is that when it’s hooked up, it buzzes on all volume levels except when the dial is turn all the way off or all the way up. There is no middle ground to be had. I don’t think it is supposed to be that way. I just received it, haven’t decided if I am going to return it or not.

Works well, good strong clip, used on an old Fender classical guitar with a small 3.5" sound hole plugged into a Yorkville acoustic amp.

I used it to my lute works well
