It’s very helpful
I have an Accord and BMW X3. Both cars show “Service needed” or “Check Engine” warning light sometimes. However, the dealer often charge me more than thousands for something else that’s not really needed to repair. With this tool, I could get well prepared before I go to the dealer. Or, maybe no need to the dealer and just simply oil change by myself.

Diagnostics for Dummies.
Bought this for my son's birthday present. He had to use it the second day he had it. Told him exactly what the problem was, interpreted the code and how to fix the problem. Saved him over $200.00 in minutes. Everyone who owns a vehicle should have one of these. I think I should buy one for myself.

Works like a charm
I had a check engine light on my 2008 lexus gs350 that comes and goes every month, especially in the colder months in Minnesota. I knew it has to do with the o2 sensors. Well the only problem is, there are 4 O2 sensors. So a scanner was on my shopping list. I bought this base on the appealing style, the red matches all my other tools. It's easy to use, basically a plug and play. It read the code and tells me that it was the upper stream o2 sensor on the passenger side. Well that alone is worth the 60 plus dollar.

Check Engine light or maintenance needed light on?
This unit will save you a lot of money if you feel comfortable enough to do minor repairs on your vehicle. Plug the device into your vehicle, choose the option you want, and then select the make of the vehicle. The Operating System is fairly intuitive, but you might need to read the manual to know what each of the functions are. When it comes to codes, it not only tells you the code, but it will tell you what the code means...Saved me over 500 dollars in repairs for something that cost me less then 50 to do myself :DHighly recommend.
