Great polo, just not for me.
Did not fit based on size given. More expensive that it should be.

Well worth the money
Wow - talk about quality! From the moment I took this shirt out of the package I was impressed. The fabric is apparently a proprietary material, they say was developed by NASA. It is supposed to be nineteen times more breathable than cotton. Those are both great things. But let’s face it, ultimately we buy clothes for how they make us look and feel. And I love both of those things about this shirt! The fit is definitely slim/athletic. The collar is more of a standard dress shirt collar than a polo collar, which makes this shirt look a little dressier. The sleeves are snug, which is another thing I look for. I don’t like short sleeve shirts with sleeves that just hang there. These are flattering, regardless of your build. The blue color is really handsome and not too “intense”. It will go with everything. And although this looks a little dressier than most polos, you can easily dress this down as well, and wear it with shorts. I know that the price tag will scare some people away. But I figure that if you’re reading this review you’re at least considering the shirt. I think that this shirt far surpasses other shirts that are this price, out there in the retail world. This is a classic look you’ll have for years to come. You won’t tire of it. You’ll take it traveling, and you’ll wear it in town all the time. So I think it is well worth the price, and well worth trying.

A black polo is a core garment for every man't wardrobe
There are a few core garments that need to be in every man's wardrobe both for dress and casual wear, and a high quality, black Polo shirt is definitely one of those items. If a man could only own one casual shirt, it should probably be a black Polo because of its classic look and it looks great almost anywhere and with any pants or jeans. I keep buying new ones looking for the perfect fit and fabric. When I saw this shirt it looked promising so I took the opportunity to receive it for review. At this somewhat premium price point, I set the bar very high in my expectations. It arrived and I've worn it several times. The fit is true to size though on the form fitting side. I wear a medium at 5' 10" and 165 lbs. and it fit perfectly. The sleeve length is just about perfect goldilocks; not too long or short. The fabric is a man made material and it is airy without looking too sheer. The back of the shirt which is not pictured has one long bow-shaped seam at the top which is reminiscent of a golf or even fishing shirt, which is growing on me. The only questionable construction is with the collar. It's somewhat stiff and sits upright and has a fabric thickness several times what the rest of the shirt is. It is said to have a collar stay sewn in though I believe it is no doubt made of thin plastic, which worries me a bit if I wash it in water too warm, though any dark colors should always be washed in cold or only warm water. I think a polo shirt by nature is something casual and molds to your body. This seems to want to be a hybrid shirt for casual up to dressy casual which is fine, but in the process seems to feel more serious and less effortless like the polos I am accustomed to. I'll have to see how that grows on me, especially after a few washings that might relax the collar a bit more. My only other notation is the price which seems a bit more premium, especially for a garment made from artificial fabric and not, say from a high quality Pima cotton or cotton blend. Recommended with mild reservations.
