Quarter turn valve is smooth and much easier to use than traditional hose valves. Installation similar to other brass fittings, use plenty of teflon tape and you will have no leaks. Higher quality and better price to HD or LS.

Why It’s good for a outdoor garden hose
Made well but as others have claimed the input supply of 1/2 inch is reduced internallyPlease do not have any one drink from this. Valve it’s not safe for drinkingIt works fine I’m using it for water supply for pool

It's the little things that count. This is an easy fix snd they provide plumbers tape and gaskets if you nee them. The faucet is simple to replace and well-made. Best of all, you save w lot of money by not calling a plumber. Just shut the water off first.

I replaced the leaking plastic drain valve on my trailer water tank and this worked perfectly. No more leaks, and now I can connect a hose and drain my water tank without pulling my trailer out of the garage.

Not a full port valve
The valve technically is a 1/2" valve. But it has a very small valve port, maybe 1/4". If you're looking to gravity flow through this or fill something up with this valve and you'd like a decent flow rate, I'd look elsewhere. If flow rate isn't important, it is a nice looking valve.
