Works but loud
Item is BIG but works well however it has a loud pop each time it is turned off or on. It is nice that it has a light indicator when on.

Good replacement.
Original Weber was defective. New replacement was easy to install and works perfectly.

This is an important part of a van or camper electrical system, at a reasonable price.
If you are adding "shore power" to your camper or van, you'll want to wire one of these breakers into the circuit between the extension cord connector and the internal circuits. That will prevent shocks because this item protects against ground fault currents. It will also protect the extension cord from overheating because this item has a 15 Amp breaker in it. Easy to test and easy to reset. Easy to wire in with nice terminals and covers integral to the product.

Well Constructed - But
This inline GFCI is well designed and quality build. However the tiny screws that secure the wire clamp and end covers should have different screw heads. They use either flat head screwdriver or Phillips and for the tiny size, make if difficult to tighten properly. Slippage is very easy.I suggest the manufacturer use either a Torx or Robertson head screws with larger screw heads to make assembly much easier.

Worked for a while...but light duty.
I used this for a replacement on a mobile evaporative cooler that rolls around in my garage. It lasted for 3 years ( a few hours each use, 5 or so times a month, 6 months of the year. ) The original that came on the cooler lasted 11 years. This cooler will often trip the gfci when moved, as the the water in the bottom sloshes around and gets in the pump electrics. So it is a pretty common occurence. This product did it's job... but for no where near the time of the original. If you want cheap for something that is used once in a while, it is acceptable. If you want something robust that will work for a long time, when you need it... keep looking.
