used on my front deck as i did not want to attach the post and rails into my house. just ordered more of them to use on my back deck to move the rails posts in so i can screen in the deck. just follow the directions and remember measure twice and cut once

This product made it very easy to design and layout my deck railing. I was concerned aboutoverall strength and rigidity of the post fastened in this manner, but the proof is in the installs -super strong! Check your local code requirements but I highly recommend this anchor overconventional methods of equal or less strength. Great product!

This anchor is well made and strong. It firmly supports a 4 by 4 post on my dock. The screws work the way they should. However, don't underestimate the effort you will have to make to drive the anchor into a pressure-treated post. I had to buy a heavier sledge hammer and do it on a thick concrete driveway.

Item were well constructed. The instructs were clear and accurate.

The post anchors where everything that was promised the only problem we had where the post anchor SKIRTS we ordered the smallest ones to fit are 4 by 4 posts after installing them there was still a 1/4 in. Gap around the entire base that looks terrible picture shows it should be flush

There was no mounting hardware provided. I would have thought at least the (4) lag bolts to mount post to base would have been provided as shown in the picture.
