Plum Fittings 2 1/2" Posts (2 3/8" OD) Floor Flange w/ 2 Set Screws (Chain Link Fencing or Steel Round Posts)

I used to fabricate something similar to these, but for the price, this is a great and sturdy product. In the included picture you can see that I used this flange to mount a 2-3/8" galvanized steel post to an existing concrete footer. The footer needs to be about 7-8 inches wide to accommodate the flange bolts. I used 5/8" X 5" concrete anchors which you can find at Lowes or Home Depot, using a hammer drill and a 5/8" concrete bit. It is imperative that you mark the holes and drill them exactly on your marks, otherwise it will be difficult to mount the flange without a little assistance from a large hammer (the concrete bit can walk around a little while drilling). If you notice the picture, I also added two additional self-drilling screws to the side of the flange into the flange and pipe to prevent the new pipe from wiggling; I wanted zero movement on my new pipe. In addition, I had to add longer carriage bolts to the bottom fence post bracket to accommodate the thickness of the flange. I construct custom-built fence for a living and I will definitely use this product again in the future. (HINT: be prepared to have the same size regular drill bit handy in case you hit rebar in the footer; a concrete bit will not drill through the rebar).

Bought this post flange because I had to replace the terminal fence post on a concrete seawall. This flange was exactly what I needed to mount the post to the concrete with four wedge anchors and nuts. Flange is strong and should last for many years. Post slid in and was tightened down with the two set screws.

After using several different designs of pipe flange, I like the compact simplicity of this design. It has a good fit (not too loose or too tight) and bolting holes are sturdy and nicely spaced. Recommended.

I purchased this to install a chain link fence around my hot tub, right next to the house where I could not dig a hole through the concrete due to electrical line there. It worked perfect got as close to the house as possible and was nice and solid. Easy to install.

a little lose fit on the leg poles but works well for feet for my pole canopy !

The side set screw was not enough to hold my post. I ended up having to encase the whole thing in concrete.

Mounted fence post to foundation concrete where I couldn’t dig a hole next to my house. Worked very well with 1/2” anchor bolts. Very strong post

Product came quickly and was exactly as described. I spray painted them and use them to keep my patio umbrella from spinning. Unfortunately the screws were not long enough to reach the post. FYI... the set screws are 3/8.
