Sturdy crate that holds even the most neurotic
We bought 2 of these. We have always bought crates easy to fold up and move; our late blue heeler wasn't much of an escape artist. Enter Max, Max was a 1year old GSD when we adopted him.He obviously didn't have a good start to life as his separation anxiety was worse than trying to drop off a 2 year old at day care for the first time. He easily escaped Stormys portable crate. That's when I got this crate. Reviews we're good, description sounded great. When it arrived it was easier than I thought to put together. The part that confused me was the instructions saying the grate needed to be on top of the plastic layer on the floor of the crate, but I followed it anyways and we quickly discovered how much of a mistake that was.First day being in the crate while everyone was at work ( before you come for me, we only do thus when they are puppies or acting up. When we can trust them not to destroy the house they can free roam the house) We put Max in the crate and left...When we returned there was no longer the removable grate or plastic tray and he had moved from the dining room to the kitchen and gotten stuck between the fridge and the island. He looked so defeated being stuck and now he knew he was I'm trouble for magical disassembling the bottom and flinstoning his way around the house. All we could do was laugh and look back at the security cameras and watch poor Max lose his mind when we left. After an hour or so he kicked out the grate and shortly after the plastic tray. He then spent the afternoon rolling his crate around the dining room, knocking over everything in his path until he finally was bested by the kitchen island and mean fridge that held him hostage and wouldn't let go to let him play more. Our Second purchase came after adoption of a Doberman pincher puppy; to be clear he's 11 months and almost 80lbs with the mind if a puppy and only has the awareness about how big he is when he wants things off the counter. There was no chance the flimsy Portable crate would hold him. We bought a second Otaid crate. He has not managed to turn it into a petal car yet, he is however a little too excited for the wheel locks to hold him. It's not alot of movement but he can I. H his crate a few inches shifting back and forth with all his weight. Our recommendation is put the plastic tray as the top layer, noone has gotten it out again since we switched it and make sure you lock the wheels and Checks the locks frequently, they'd come loose when a neurotic heavy dog tries to move it, but on the plus side it is easy to move even with your furry friend in it.Hope that helpsPs it is also very tall, good for most big dogs, probably to small for great Danes, great Pyrenees, Irish wolf hound, etc.

awesome
perfect for my pup! it's expensive but it's quality. i love it. i have a big puppy who had separation anxiety and he would paw at it all night n never hurt himself or broke it. never got out on his own or anything. ive had it for a year and it's good as new. ill never have to buy another crate.some cons:i ran into a little problem with putting my pups water dispenser on the crate because the bars are thick and the little clasps were too small to fit but i was able to tie it on there.folding it up is possible but harder than a normal crate because you do have to unscrew some stuff.if it had a second door on the other side that'd be nice.putting it together was maybe a bit tricky just because it's so heavy but i weigh $1.25 soaking wet and i got through it in a couple hours. someone stronger or two people could do it in less than half an hour probably.

Strong, sturdy and convenient
This kennel is awesome. I bought it so my puppy would be safe from mischief any time she was alone. Now she is grown and loves it. If I forget to close the door on it she will go in there to nap. I also bought a super soft and thick dog bed from Amazon that fits it perfectly. Well worth the money, it's very affordable to begin with! Also has wheels so very easy to move around and to clean underneath it.

Durable
I bought this because the normal wire kennels you buy at the store were not strong enough for my dog, he would bend the wires and break wires to get out. So far this new big one is holding up great! He has enough room to lay down and stand up completely, he is starting to like his kennel

Great value
Well worth every penny I spent. Easy to set up and my dogs haven't been able to destroy any part like the wire cages we've had in the past.

Exceeded my expectations
I have placed 2 orders for these crates. The first order for 2 crates arrived intact, no damages. The second order of 1 crate had minor damages—some dents. The crates are too heavy for me to even attempt to send it back. The damages must have been prior to packaging and I’m wondering if I received someone’s returned purchase because the packaging was intact and I witnessed my fedex delivery driver taking the item from his truck without incident.I intend to purchase 1 more crate but will wait a while because I’m concerned that this issue will be repeated. The crates are large and easy to put together. It’s so nice to be able to move the crates around on their wheels instead of dragging the old crates. I put new dog beds in the crates and my dogs like the crates so much that they go and get in them on their own when resting. These crates are heavy duty. One of my dogs was able to bend her old foldable crate bars and her sister was able to figure out how to unlock the bottom lock of her old crate. These new crates have fixed those problems.Great product and I definitely recommend them. It’s like my dogs have their own bedrooms now 🤣

Doggies
I had two Pits in one and Cane Corso in the other and I had no problems with them getting out.
